PROS:: *The convenience is the key, with a great attitude... To me, theyre always smiling, and hustling to make your food so you could go to work, school, or just want to enjoy your breakfast. *The prices are low here... for an example: a croissant normally costs about $2 and some change and theyre fulfilling as well.00 *The food is very delicious here; from croissants, to kolaches, to donuts, to fritters, even Boudain (Louisiana Flavor)... An assortment of drinks are located within the cooler to the right as youre entering. *Wheelchair assessable location... For parking and dining. *Takes credit cards, debit cards, and cash CONS:: *$4.00 minimum on Debit/Credit purchases, otherwise theres a ¢50 surcharge... Some people may want just a kolache and a donut and may be charged ¢50 extra because thats less $4.... otherwise, there arent any cons.

Tasty & fresh donuts; I favor the chocolate twists and the chocolate old-fashioneds. With chocolate milk. Chocolate. I also recommend the breakfast tacos, which an an interesting thing in themselves: normal sized, but each contains a seriously dense brick of scrambled egg with your choice of bacon (an whole intact strip in each one), potato or sausage. Very filling, and quite tasty, if not precisely traditional. The salsa verde packs a considerable punch, too.

First Ill start with the good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cream cheese kolache and sour cream/buttermilk donuts were pretty good. Ultimately this would be a 3 or 4 star review if that was all I had. Unfortunately, I also got a custard filled long John. The custard tasted like it had garlic mixed in it and I ultimately didnt finish it. Its possible that this was a fluke but if not the recipe needs to change immediately.

Unfortunately the dozen chocolate-covered donuts we picked up this morning tasted like a bottle of acetone was dumped into the batch. The breading was good, it was only the chocolate that had the chemical taste. Ive had that experience once before with packaged chocolate donuts, but never with fresh. Very disappointed since we thought this was going to be our go-to; will have to look elsewhere.

Everything I’ve had at Central Donut has been wonderful, but the croissants are the reason I keep coming back….that and the fact they open at 5:00 and have a great staff. I recently moved further away, but I’ll still drive out of my way to get my croissant fix. One thing to note - if your order is less than a certain amount (I think $4.00) and you pay by credit card there is a $0.50 surcharge.

Was fine as a donut shop, decent cake and yeast and fritter donuts, as well as croissants and breakfast tacos (flour only). White cream filling very strange though.. took one bite of a cream filled selection and the cream was not sweet at all, almost. tasted plasticy.. tough to get that flavor out of my mouth.. plus there is a bum sleeping outside the door.

This place is great....the food rocks, the staff is excellent. The young woman that usually serves me is very friendly, asks about my day, and remembers what I usually get. She also happens to be really cute :-) Central Donut is highly recommended by this former Krispy Kreme lover.

Super cheap and delicious. I recommend the croissant sandwiches - I usually only want egg & cheese on mine and theyll always go in the back and make one for me without meat. Their donuts are above average too. Try an apple fritter if youve completely given up on calorie control.

I havent gone there yet but if they fire me up like the last customer then ill just use my hatred to warm up my donuts and make them yummy since you cant trust the a-words out to make a buck btw im awesome if that matters.

Way better than some big chain breakfast! Prices are great, you can get a huge sausage, egg, and cheese croissant for less than $2.50 after tax. A lot of things are less than $2. Speedy service too

Jelly and cheese kolachi is amazing and the rest of donuts look great and the prices are surprising enough that I thought she forgot a couple of items. The coffee is weak, but not bad.

Thier chocolate tastes like it has gasoline or some sort of chemical in it. We buy thier donuts every week for our meeting at work and numerous co-workers noticed it.
