I took my iPad mini in to the N Arlington location to have a cracked screen replaced (highly recommended by my cell phone carrier). The iPad performed perfectly prior to taking it to Dr Smartphone....the ONLY concern was the cracked screen. I agreed to the terms & pricing & left the tablet since the glass had to be specially ordered. I was told it would be ready by 2 PM the following day. The next day I received a call advising that the glass order was received, but the tech who would be replacing the screen had failed to show up for work...thus delaying repair at least another 24 hours. I reluctantly chose to leave the tablet another 24 hours. I picked up the "repaired" Ipad Mini the following day and paid extra for a screen protector...and waited for it to be installed. I was assured that the tablet had been tested and worked perfectly. Within 48 hours the iPad started randomly powering off and would take several tries to power it back on. Then it became obvious that there were several places on the screen that were NOT touch sensitive. I took the iPad back to the store to be fixed only to be met with a locked door and a sign on the door reading: "Temporarily closed. Will reopen under new management" There was a website to look for other locations (Addison, Denton, & Plano it turns out). The corporate number was also listed. I called the corporate number several times and the phone just rang with no answer or even a voicemail option. I finally called the Addison location (which I might add is 30 miles + major traffic from my location). The guy at the Addison location offered to fix my iPad if I wanted to drive to Addison. ..which Ill be honest isnt high on my priority list. He also said he was just a couple blocks from the corporate office and would contact someone there to address my problem. He took my contact information & agreed that either he or someone from corporate would call me back within 2 hours. Its been 3 days & Im still waiting. Surely Im not the only person in the entire DFW area to have a bad experience with this company. WHAT A CLUSTER______!!!!!!!

Dropped my phone off at 1:00 on Saturday the guy told us it would be done in two hours but to wait for his call to let us know it was finished, so we left and saw it was now 3:30 still no call so we rushed back knowing they close at 4, we get there its not done he tells us we have time to leave and go eat WITHOUT him closing the shop and that he would give us a call. we come back almost an hour later and wait in the parking lot for about 30 mins and my phone and my mothers camera where not done yet. He again assures us that he still needs time and told us we did not need to stay and wait there, and that he would call us once the job had been done. its now around 5 and so we left for another 30 mins or so to come back STILL NO CALL to find the shop completely dark and my phone and my mothers phone are locked inside. With out a single phone call from either of the 2 phone numbers we left. I am not impressed and i had to come to work today without my phone need i remind you 70% of my job consists of being on my phone to stay in contact with the employs all day. I am not at all happy with this service. Our entire Saturday we were stuck in the area awaiting our phones to not even get them back...

The guy at the front desk didnt feel the need to let me know my phone was going to be a day late (had to call in to find out). Then he "tested" it to see if it worked and charged me $214.00. I turned it on, made a call and left. When I got home and tried a couple of different apps it was clear the left side of the screen wasnt working right. I called the same guy NOW tells me its always 50/50 with aftermarket screens but he cant get mine fixed until Tuesday. I pressed that he would need to fix it on Saturday or give me a refund. He magically found a local distributor for the part after showing up an hour and a half after the posted start time. He then tells me hes not sure he can get it done because of all the new orders in front of mine. SERIOUSLY. This clerk hasnt the slightest idea of customer service is. Read the fine print on their contract as well. The crooks will charge you $45.00 regardless of whether or not they screw up the repairs. Terrible way to do business... I just talked to the owner Steve, hes a solid guy to do business with. He refunded the money due to an error made by an employee which goes a long way in my book. I will recommend them in the future. I took my Toshiba laptop ( present from late husband 4yrs ago) in to Dr Smart Phone since trying to repair 3 times with others and more than $250.00 later was told to purchase new laptop for less than what it would take to repair. I left my laptop with Dr Smart Phone for 2 days, and picked it up with original problem fixed not to mention it ran incredibly faster and comparable to a more expensive current model and guess what? Repair cost was less than $50.00!! Yes they repair most anything that has a mother board!!! Of course I would recommend them to anyone and have sent several people to them that have been pleased as well.. I am very pleased with the personable attention and their ability to fix the problem for an extremely reasonable price.

Worst place to take your phone..they dont have a clue on how to fix smartphone..I brought my phone in with cracked screen and now it doesnt even turn on..they took no responsibility and blamed internal parts???wtf.I wouldnt take anything to them and I advise any and everybody to stay away..terrible service and rude customer service.

Got my screen replaced, pretty inexpensively compared to others. People were friendly. Only down side is since my phone was an older model and they did not have the part in stock, it took a week to order it. Only an hour or so when they got the part 2nd time I broke it I had them order it first, then brought my LG L90 in

Awesome experience came in to get my iPhone 6S plus fixed for a broken screen and ended up getting my iPhone 6 fixed as well for a good deal it has water damage. Customer service was great and everything is working good! Took about an hour which is normal and overall will always come back.

I have received outstanding customer service time and time again! They fix everything from broken iPhone screens to gaming systems! They also have great phone cases and accessories. My tempered glass screen protector has been a life saver! I highly recommend this electronics repair shop!

Had very good experience w the service. .very competitive price on shattered screen replacement. .highly recommend this store. Young lady at counter very helpful and tech lady hooked me up ..will go bak if necessary for any other repairs
