What I witnessed today, May 25, 2017 was disgusting treatment towards women of color! Very long summary. Im paraphrasing the comments because Im too lazy to type quoted comments. Here goes: 1st lady in front of me had to show her id for a purchase, she said I just purchased a few minutes ago and you didnt ask for my id then, which is true because I saw her walking towards her car as I was walking towards the entrance of the building. Owner, never responded, just checked her out. 2nd lady, asked questions regarding return policy, which is understandable. This lady got out of line to gather more items to purchase, but when she returned to continue her checkout process, the Owner held up $50 to make sure it was authentic, then the lady asked for her receipt. Owner rudely insisted she gave her the receipt, lady said no you didnt, Owner insisted lady misplaced her own receipt, lady asked Owner to check her bag herself so she could see there was no receipt. Receipt was found next to Owners register. No apology to lady from owner....nothing. 3rd. My turn and Im already livid by what I had just witnessed. I was treated differently than the other 2 women before me; almost better with the exception that the Owner took my damn card out of my hand to slide in chip. After my transaction was completed she didnt say "thank you" I always like to exclaim "youre welcome" to people like her. In summation, although it was my second time shopping there, ever! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I will go back to getting my hair products shipped from an AA woman owned business in Memphis, TN. If you must go to an Asian business because of their vast selection, make sure youre as a consumer is appreciated and treated with dignity and respect.

PLEASE READ!!!!: Do not ever go in this place looking for good customer service or expecting to find decent hair or help you will always get a attitude or ignored you can tell the employees at this store hate their job the asian lady at the front register is something else she has what you called selective hearing and undstandering of simple things ("Dang Dilbert") best way to describe her a friend of mine warned me about this store but I still wanted to check it out being its literally across the street from my home. I should have listened!!! Me and my family will never step foot back in this dump. If you look at the rest of the reviews you can tell the store will be out of business soon! If anything just go in for fun to experience how bad the hair, hair products and customer service is and then leave you might get a good laugh and be in shock! I have also shared on all social media and recorded the treatment of customers here and thousands of people are seeing the truth THANK GOODNESS!!!!! GLAD to have found a new shop Uptown Wig beauty supply on Green Oaks Blvd # 500, Arlington, TX 76017 we go about 2-3 times a week THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE HAIR AND PRODUCTS!!! If your looking for a good shop worth your money UPTOWN WIG is the place!

Been to this store approx 2-3 times and yes noticed a sercurity guard at the front..didnt phased me..Was looking for some things and went here to see what they had to offer on a Fri afternoon...First there was no one in the hair section to ask assistance for approx 10 min so we( baby grand and I) browsed.Finally got some assistance..Was still shopping and a yes as the previous shopper mentioned,started being followed by security guard.Not only did he followed me around the store, He appeared at the register.I asked him "are you going to walked me to me car? Yes,he was surprised I said anytihing. Advised him contrary to rumour"All Black women dont steal".Most of us work and pay for what we need. So, I too will not be going back to this store.

This place is terrible. I live in louisiana and was down visiting family.....i went in to get braid hair and they had a box full of Marley hair in a box labeled 3.99. I get to the register and they charge me 5.99. Once i point out the price difference to the worker and walk her to the back where she clearly sees that the box has the hair i was purchasing in it. Her response was im sorry someone moved it. I then told her she can see the box still has more packs of the hair in it and they need to fix it. She apologized didnt fix the problem and proceeded to the front to charge me the 5.99 a pack. Terrible customer service.

I love this place Ive been going here for at least 2 years and Ive always gotten friendly service from all the employees working there. I dont understand the other low ratings and comments; I wouldnt agree with them. Every time my family and I walk in we are warmly welcomed and our check out process is always great and fast. Would definitely recommend to come check this place out.

Very friendly and they have every thing you need for wig care. The reason I am only giving 2 stars is because their wigs are primarily for African American women. Im caucasion who has alopecia and have to wear wigs as a nessecity. They dont have an adequate selection for Caucasian women with alopecia or hair loss due to cancer.

Terrible! I bought a package of hair that says 100% human hair. Installed the hair and followed heating instructions to only find out hair is completely synthetic. They refused to refund me with money or merchandise.

Called to ask how much something was so I would bring enough cash with me and was told they cant give the out over the phone. Makes me wonder are they going to change the price when I get there.
