If theres one thing this small town has always seemed to have plenty of, its grocery stores. Not to date myself and sound like an old curmudgeon but it wasnt long ago when the best way these groceries could compete was through customer service. Now that some of the corporate Giants have moved in, all that has had to go by the wayside for cheaper prices. However, that being said and also making a note that Food Lion is one of those Giants, theyre the closest thing to the behavior of the old mom and pop grocery stores.

The food lion is very clean. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly . The customer is really valued. They always have smiles on. The food lion card is really handy. And the food is always fresh and in date. The employees at food lion strive for protection. I really appreciate how they conduct their self, and its a reflection to them.

Very friendly staff. Nice selection of food for the town its in. Just make sure to look at when stuff is expiring. Sometimes their rotation of food gets missed.
