If you are looking for a shop to get a tattoo, please READ my review. I know its lengthy but I hope it helps answer some questions similar to what I had before I got inked and helps you decide where to go to get your next tattoo (which should be TITAN and Ill explain why). Having said that, I am not from Nashville and actually planned a getaway with friends. We all decided to get tattoos (Ive wanted one for 15 years but was never brave enough to pull the trigger) and we had NEVER been tattooed before. I knew my concept and it meant a lot to me, so a bad tattoo would have been DEVASTATING. I am a researcher and wanted to make sure I made the best choice possible, so I got online and started researching tattoo shops in Nashville (ok borderline obsessed with finding the perfect place). I read LOTS of reviews (good and bad) and narrowed down my choice to 4 shops in Nashville. I emailed all four shops a few months prior to our getaway weekend. One never responded to my email, another said they could not do what I wanted in the time I had for the price I could afford (their hourly rate was RIDICULOUS), and the 3rd one did not really seem interested in the business. The fourth shop I emailed was Titan Tattoo. Karen, the owner, responded to my email quickly and thanked me for my interest in her shop. I arranged through email a phone consultation and instantly connected and felt comfortable with Karen. She answered all my questions very professionally (some of them were ridiculous Im sure) and seemed willing to work with me on my concept, time window, and pricing. We paid our deposit and kept in contact for the months leading up to our getaway. She listened to my ideas and would redraw to add things I wanted. She personalized my tattoo and I was VERY happy with what we came up with. My husbands artist was Michael and he was just as amazing as Karen at helping him finalize his concept and come up with a killer trash polka tattoo. Time came for us to fly to Nashville and we went to the shop to meet everyone in person. I was SO impressed by how clean and well maintained the shop was. The artists were friendly and very helpful. You could tell they truly care about their craft and create quality art and tattoos. She explained the whole process to us step-by-step and detail-by-detail. I was so grateful and what she told me about aftercare was spot on. When it was my turn for my 4-hour shoulder piece, Karen was AWESOME! She was such a perfectionist and did AMAZING work. I could not believe she could get that much detail and definition into my tattoo. Getting tattooed was painful but totally manageable. You could tell she knew her craft and it healed very nicely. Clean lines, great shading, no trauma to my skin, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Everyone in our group felt the same way (we had 3 different artists) and my husbands 2-hour trash polka piece looked sick. I was so pleased with how well it turned out. So long story short, Titan Tattoo is EVERYTHING you are looking for. DO NOT be nervous about going to this shop. They are VERY professional artists and run an EXCEPTIONAL business. They have fair pricing and AWESOME customer service. I HIGHLY recommend Titan Tattoo and will go there again. They helped make my first tattoo one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

After looking around Nashville for the best shops, my husband & I saw Titan Tattoo. First, let me say its rated well for a reason. There is NOT a bad artist there, all of them are amazing. Anyway, I popped in & looked at portfolios & came across Kelsey Overbeys work. I immediately saw several styles I liked as well as lots of detailed pieces. I walked in not knowing how to describe what I wanted & within a few minutes, she found exactly what I needed. She drew me a sketch, sent it to me for my feedback & guess what? I didnt change a damn thing. She worked steadily without taking lots of breaks & finished the work on my arm in just under four hours (its large with a ton of detail). She is responsive, talented & well, a badass! Go see her. Talk to her. Get a tattoo by her. You wont regret it.

Went in today with a couple people, I got a piercing and one of my friends got a small tattoo. They were extremely fun without losing any of their professionalism. So nice, great prices, amazing job on the piercing - Karen walked me through it, kept me stay calm and answered all of my questions honestly. She was fantastic! Sassy and fun and very friendly. My friend was extremely happy with her tattoo. I got my piercing done at the same time, so I didnt get to talk much with Kelsey but she did a great job on the small tattoo, and did it in just a few minutes. Everything looks amazing, we are so happy! Next time were in Nashville and we want to get some ink or piercings were coming back for sure!

Titan and its owner Karen Cain are amazing! I have gotten four pieces there now including a big back and a big side piece. Three of the four included cover-ups. Karen is incredible. She is an artist and a professional, knowledgeable tattooist. Each piece was custom designed with my input and came out detailed, well-executed, and healed in record time thanks to her technique. The shop is clean and full of amazing staff. If you want QUALITY work, great conversation, professionalism, and a bad ass tattoo... Titan and karen are the only way to go. I drove from Virginia for the last piece, and will continue to do so. Ten stars!!!!

I have tattoos and piercings by Karen, and tattoos from Viking Myke and Ray Sorro. These folks have all become good friends and that is because they are good people. Karen runs a very professional, well-managed and diversified business, but what draws me back each time is the shops unique vibe and the individual talents of each artist. Many times I have just dropped in to check out their latest creations and maybe convince Karen to brew me up a fresh cup of coffee. Like I say, good people + amazing talent = you cant go wrong. Love me some Titan Tattoo!

Karen was awesome to work with!! She is an awesome tattoo artist and Im over the top with my pin up she tattooed on me and my zodiac symbol!! She also took the time to touch up one other tattoo I had. My brother and sister in law were also very happy with the excellent work she did for them!! No people this is not a joke, this is one happy customer!! Titan tattoo is the place to go if you are ever in the Nashville area!! Ray Sorro of Titan Tattoo gave me my first tattoo. He did a spectacular job and put me at ease right away. I came in with an idea and he understood my vision and drew a wonderful piece of art. Within an hour or so (the time went by quickly), I had the bottletree for my shoulder that Id wanted for the last 10 years. A lot of people comment on the artistry of my tattoo and wish Memphis were closer to Nashville. Thank you, Ray. I cant wait to add to my tattoo next time Im in Nashville.
