I have been visiting Elliston Place Pipe and Tobacco for years now and have never experienced any rudeness; not from the owner, manager, part time help or other seasonal employees. If you dont have an ID on you then you have no business even walking into the shop. This is the law. All these recent reviews are friends of one fussy customer and should be disregarded. This shop services pipe and cigar smokers and is a rare bird in a world of fast food cigar shops. If you are too immature to show your ID to the employees maybe you should just go elsewhere and allow the adults to enjoy the expertise of the staff and the excellent selection.

I received great service from a bearded fellow, regret to have not have got his name. He was was very informative of selections and types of tobacco, and ended up selling me a great blend of their pipe tobacco named "House Special" it was smooth and aeromatic. Wouldnt think twice about stopping by for another visit soon. Overall, a great place to shop if youre a pipe tobacco or cigar afficinado.

Tommy is an old school tobacconist. He has in-depth knowledge on pipes, pipe tobacco, cigars, and everything in between. Their pipe tobacco selection, especially bulk, is tremendous. The tins are good quality, hand-picked selections sure to please. The pipes are beautiful, and the humidor is amply stocked. This place is well worth your time — and make sure to say hi to Tommy when youre there!

I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Id heard great things about Elliston from Joe Case, but my experience was less than Id hoped for. Staff gave no greeting or offered any help. Cigar selection was so-so. No seating for smoking in-house. Gets points for a vast selection of bulk tobaccos, I picked up some Pembroke. Sadly, I wont be going out of my way to go back.

Awesome selection-knowledgable reps. Decent prices. Ive been to the other tobacco store in Green Hills, and they were pushy and tried to sell me the most expensive things. At Elliston Place, they gave me time and space to shop. Ill go nowhere else for my pipe supplies as long as they are open!! Thanks for a great experience!!!!

First time at the shop since it changed management and the shop has changed a lot. Much better selection of cigars, bulk tobacco and name brand pipes. Staff was very helpful in finding what I was looking for. I recommend if you have not been lately stop by and you will like what you see!!

Nice selection of product but the owner needs to work on his people skills. He had cigars on top of a half price box. When I asked if they where half off too, he shouted from the back "HELL NO"! Dont worry about me... I will not be back.
