Great prices, Great selection of furniture, but the ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encountered simply buying a piece of furniture. My wife & I selected a couch at the end of summer after seeing their tv advertisement, the showroom had very little A/C and was very hot and the sales lady came off very rude at every interaction. We asked what money we had to put down and what payments needed to be made and were told "we will always take your money" but were never given any clear payment schedule. (which is completely opposite their marketing message on their tv advertisement) Anyway the couch arrives and we get a call, so I ask the Butch on the phone if we could schedule a delivery date and in what seemed like a harassing tone told me I must pay before a delivery date could be set up, I of course said no problem I will pay but can we set up a delivery time and date? Still I could not schedule a delivery and because of reviews I had read I (which indicated issues with delivery and furniture being there) asked if I could see the couch before I paid the balance to ensure it was there and is what I ordered, and also I would just rent a truck and deliver the couch myself and attempt to avoid the hassle of using them for delivery. Butch told me no problem, I could check the couch but it was at their warehouse nearby and I would have to call ahead so they could have the couch pulled. So today (Monday morning) I called to arrange to see the couch at the warehouse, pay and to deliver it myself. I unfortunately got Bo (the owner) on the phone who thought it was odd I wanted to see the couch... (which is what Butch told me was no problem, and to call ahead the day I was to pick it up) Bo called me "a piece of work" and "unique" because when I arrived at the warehouse after calling ahead no one was there and the door was locked, and when I called back to see if I needed to use another entrance or if I was in the right place he again answered the phone and was stumped... So after a frustrating conversation I finally get to see the couch (exactly what we ordered) and so I go to the FMO showroom to pay, where I meet Bo and he tells me that it is his policy that customers pay in full before they set a delivery time and says "I pay the drivers $400 a week and if a customer hands them a $500 balance they would just take it" so his rationale for not setting up deliveries before payment is that he employs low paid thieves that will take your money and not give it the store...... Or at least that what he tells his customers. I tried to be concise as possible in conveying my experience but the bottom line is that they have done a great job putting a large variety of good, and reasonably priced furniture together but from the top on down have no respect for their customers and could care less about providing quality service, so the other reviews that cite them as having great customer service, I would assume are fake reviews to combat the real customer experiences like mine.

I dont often write reviews. But every now and then I come across a company/experience/people that deserve the praise where credit is due! I ordered a BEAUTIFUL Ashley Furniture couch through FMO back in August. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it online in their catalog. I was put on a 90 day payment plan. They had to get it from their warehouse to the store. Its the holidays... and my life is NEVER easy and I unfortunately had some hiccups in my financial situation. Long story short, I knew I wasnt going to have the balance paid at the end of 90 days. I felt defeated because that couch had so much sentimental value for me. Its my very first ever piece of furniture that I am buying ON MY OWN, TO MY TASTE, WITH NO ONE TELLING ME NO in my 31 years on this earth. It was more than just a couch. It was a symbol of my independence. I called them on day 90 to let them know I wouldnt be able to pay off the couch in time, fearing I was going to lose the item due to non-payment. To my delight and surprise, they worked with me and are still working with me to pay it off. Im now 1 payment away from scheduling the delivery! Being able to say that brings tears to my eyes you guys. You will NOT find a better company or group of people to work with. I will absolutely be a repeat customer (especially now that my "hiccups" are taken care of LOL). I have my first apartment on my own and it needs to be furnished. I can promise you, it will be through these guys/gals. Top notch folks. It has TRULY been a pleasure working with you all!

My experience with this company has been bitter. Although I purchased the furniture at a very reasonable price, the delivery and faulty furniture has made me question as to whether Ill do business with them again. I ordered my furniture almost 2 months and although I delayed the delivery 1 week, it still didnt justify the fact that at the time I paid over $1200 for furniture the expected delivery date was quoted to be 14-18 days... not 2 months. I called on several occasions and heard my excuses. In the end, I doubted whether I would ever receive furniture I paid in full for. When I questioned whether I could receive a refund if my furniture wasnt delivered in a timely manner, I was told there is no refund. Today, my furniture arrived and we received great customer service. Within 2 minutes of opening my sons top drawer to his dresser, the screw to 1 of the tracks fell out. We had to search for the missing screw and fix this issue so the drawer would slide back in. Overall, Im only giving it 1 star. I wasnt given correct delivery information at the time I paid for our furniture in full. I wasnt notified AT ALL that the delivery would be later than expected... I had to contact them for this information. The quality is questionable.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I bought a bed frame online and was told that it will be in the warehouse in 2 weeks. I called a little earlier than 2 weeks and they told me that it wont be into the warehouse for another month. They said that the headboard was out of stock. I was not happy. I talked to Bo on the phone and he told me that they will give me free delivery because of the wait or I can pick another bed frame and he will match the price. I chose another bed frame that looked similar and I actually liked better. I could tell he was doing everything he could to help me. The new bed frame got to them a couple days later but was still on the truck. I was told to come on a Sunday to come get it. I sent my husband to get it and it still was not off the truck. The lady that works up in the front, I think her name was Christine, apologized to him and she personally called me and apologize to me that it wasnt off the truck. She told me that it will be off the truck by Wednesday or if I wait until Friday they would deliver it to me for free. I got the bed frame and it is wonderful. It is great quality and beautiful! Thank you to the customer service at FMO. I will def. be back to buy more!
