First I stood in line for about 15 minutes while one woman was helping someone else and the other was drinking her coffee. Woman drinking her coffee told me in a rude tone that I had to return the equipment to the dock before she could check it in (I was not aware of that). The only open dock was crowded with other vehicles loading equipment so I couldnt back in and had other employees laughing at me because I was concerned about hitting something. Finally got to the dock, they opened the tailgate and unloaded and walked away with my tailgate open. Then after 5 minutes came back and said, "ummm go get your receipt and check out." Well, I cant go with an open tailgate! They treated me like a dumb woman that didnt know what she was doing and had no business being there. Will not be returning. Thank you Farrer Bros. for making me look and feel stupid.

I just called asking for information on renting a piece of equipment. I was actually sent to them by another local rental service and they were extremely nice. But I was transferred to the rental desk here and got a rude woman. "Im looking to rent a spray rig and I was wondering if you had any for rent" "No! Thank you!" And goes to hang up the phone... "Wait, do you know anyone who may have one for rent in the area?" "No" then she hangs up on me. Worst I have ever been treated on the phone by any customer service person. Really a shame considering the company I called before them was extremely nice and even recommended them without me asking when they didnt have what I was looking for. I will never use them for anything now, which is a shame considering how often I need equipment.

Extremely poor customer service and they dont know how well any of their tools work. I rented an electric jack hammer from them three times for the same job. The first two times I got the same one. It was a Bosch brand. It seemed to be taking a long time and not doing as much as I thought it would. The last time I got a different one and it tore the concrete up like nobodys business. Makita brand. I told them that if I would have had the Makita the first time I probably would have had the job done in just a few hours instead of having to come back two more times and they just looked at me like I was stupid and walked away. I highly recommend spending the extra few dollars and renting from Home depot.

UNFORTUNATELY SOMETIMES WE FIND OUR SELFS IN SITUATIONS WHERE THE COLOR OF OUR SKIN DETERMINS THE QUALTY OF SERVICE WE RECIVE. SOUCH WAS THE CASE WITH THE FARRER BROS WHEN WE BOUGHT SOME TOURCH GAS AND AIR FROM THEM. SOUTHERN HOSPITIALITY RINGS CLEEAR IN THE SOUTH HOWEVER HUMAN PRIVLIGE DOSENT EVEN SEEM TO BE A CONSERN OF THE FARRER BROTHERS LET ALONE GOOD OLD SOUTHERN HOSPITIALTY. THE MOST RACEIST COMPANY EVER..

I picked up some lawn care and garden items yesterday. A much better experience than the big box stores. I was greeted as I walked in, someone asked me if I needed help with anything. I easily found what I needed. Parking is close which is much different than the big box stores and you can talk with someone who knows about hardware items. I recommend Farrer Bros Hardware if you are in the Murfreesboro area.

If you are military and looking to rent any equipment AVOID Fair Brothers. They will not accept your out of state ID’s and ask to hold a deposit the price of the equipment you wish to rent, for us that was $1,600. The customer service person was very rude and would not work with us at all. I am all about supporting small and local business but in this case I will not be returning there.

We use Farrer Brothers almost daily with our small business. These guys and girls are great! Always happy to help and very knowledgeable about their products. I rented some equipment for a week, making sure to ask exactly when they would be picking it up since it fell on a weekend. They told me it would need to be picked up on the following Monday, yet they called me on Saturday to tell me it was due back. Ill never buy or rent anything from there again.

I am a wounded vet and was repairing my flag pole. When this great company found out that I was going to be needing a crane to help repair the pole they generously loaned the machine free of charge. I highly recommend this company to any and all people. And i am very thankful to them.

Rude, sarcastic, insulting people. They all need to get some kind of training in customer relations. They talk to you like youre a stupid child. They dont say hello or thank you...nothing. Its there way or no way. They dont care. Especially that bald headed prick in rental.

Found what I needed, but I experienced very poor customer service at the cash register. I got a unwelcome vibe from the cashier(southern racist bastard). So anyone of color I wouldnt advised You to go, just visit Home Depot or Autozone on se broad st.

Best hardware store in town, made 5 trips to the other guys trying to fix my fluorescent lights with the right ballast, David put me on the right guy that got me the right ballast, worked like a charm. Very knowledgeable staff

I have shopped there for many years. As soon as you walk in the door there is someone close by to help you find what you’re looking to buy. I have rented their equipment with great success. Family owned it an extra plus!!!
