I love the food and the people. You get an unbelievable amount of food for the money. Everything is freshly prepared from scratch daily, and they do not use processed or can foods. It is most certainly the healthiest soul food in Memphis, as well as the best ! Oh, and be sure to Save room for desert. I love the peach cobbler so much, that I order it by the pan. In a word: "yummie".

If youre in need of a home-cooked, soulful meal, this is definitely the place to go. I originally ate here over 10+ years ago and I recently visited and the food was still just as amazing as the very first time... I have *never* had anything from their menu that I didnt absolutely love. Absolutely one of South Memphis hidden gems.

Small down home neighborhood grocery store, where the big draw is the hot dinner plates. For under 9 dollars, you get a large soul food plate to go. Very friendly staff and great food. I pick up for the office every week and I would recommend this place to everyone.

HORRIBLE and the hog maws I had to go home and finish cooking them snap beans has no seasoning neither the dressing and the cooks are rude as HELL
