This response is to Lee Hs post Re: The Armory Gun Shop in Lebanon, Tn. Sir, I am a long time customer of this establishment and am shocked of your trashing post of this fine and reputable establishment! I know for a FACT that the Owner, Curtis, takes personal interest in all of the aspects of this business but he is only one man and they do a LOT of business! Of that business a large part is REPEAT BUSINESS such as myself. This says a lot about this business. Sounds like to me you had a bad day and a bad experience that day and perhaps some of that is due to your own attitude so before ever start writing such a bias review as you did take your own personality out of it and just stick to the facts as they are and not as you think they should other wise you fall into the category of a Social Justice Warrior! The US has way to many of these Snow Flakes and we in Tennessee DO NOT Want or Need Any MORE Melting Down Here!!! As for The Armory, They Are Awesome!!! The selection is good and prices are fair as well as they can order anything that you may need in a relatively short time. Their Gun Smith Services and Customization Services are second to NO ONE is the area, This I know from personal experience. I am a repeat customer for a reason and that says it all! Finally, when I say something or review someone I sign My Name to it so everyone can see who it comes from so there I it is! David "Grave Digger" Alexander

Last Friday I was coming home from the VA hospital in Murfreesburro and decided to stop at a gun store (The Armory) in Lebanon while I was deciding on a place to eat there. I saw an LCR Ruger that was reasonably priced, so I decided to buy it. Ive always paid cash for the guns I bought in the past but unfortunately there isnt a First National Bank in Lebanon. I have two checking accounts at First National Bank in case my debit card is compromised I wouldnt lose chunks of money from my larger account. So I couldnt buy the gun outright. She told me I could put it on layaway so I paid $100.00 down. I had a follow up appointment the following Tuesday (today at the time of this post ) in Murfreesburro from Cookeville so it wasnt a problem. She didnt tell me I would have to PAY A SECOND BACKGROUND CHECK to get my gun, and that is on her for not telling me. If she told me last Friday I would have to pay another background check after that day, I would have drove close enough to Cookeville to find a First National Bank and finish paying for my gun without paying a second background check, paperwork and a wait. I mentioned my concern to her without being rude, and she quickly snapped and told me she could refund my money excluding the background check. I told her Id be out of $10.00 either way. I finished paying for my gun, never to return.

I was driving through Lebanon yesterday and saw the shop. Ive never stopped in and I had an extra few minutes ..... They asked if I was looking for anything and of the few guns I named they happended to have a 92FS used, hogue grips, faded night sights, 2 hi cap mags, $425 + tax & bg, $479 otd. It was one of the guys personal guns he decided to sell through the store. I said Id be back to pick it up. I didnt have the gun cash with me. I called today to make sure it was still there before heading out. When I got there and asked about it the guy said I should have called sooner becuase he just finished cleaning it and now he has to charge me more for the gun. I laughed and said that he took all the fun out of it and I would have liked to do it tonight. He said its now $450 plus tax. I told him that I expected to buy a gun that has been cleaned, especially since its from a store. He said he did more than clean it. He actually had to take it apart and give it a deep clean and that substantially raised the condition of the gun. I walked out. I decided to refrain from being a customer of theirs, for life. I travel a lot for work. Ill wait to find something I want in a store that knows how to politely deal with the public.

Ive been there and bought two guns. They never gave be any dirty looks for the many questions that Ive asked. Im absolutely certain with no doubt- that youll be satisfied with your visit. AND...you cant, (CANT) beat the prices they have, I looked this up. Bass Pro Shop and Cabellas couldnt beat the price on the manufacturers web sites of the guns i was/am interested had higher prices then what The Armory Gun Shop sells them for. Polite People. Good Service. Honest Answers. A+

I have to agree with the low raters here. Very cocky, know it all people. I asked if they had any .22 handguns. The lady said, "that aint gonna kill nobody," and "they are junk.." She told me S&W didnt make a 22 revolver. I heard the other guy tell the next customer that what he wanted was junk too. Then he just left me standing there and kept bashing everything he wanted. Prices were too high as well. Adios, Ill not be back.

I gave them 3 chances for 2 different purchases. I havent met a single employee who was helpful or even civil. Spare yourself the anguish and go elsewhere. I ended up at Franklin gun shop, paid a little more but it was well worth the money not to deal with folks that act like immature, gamer, teenage misfits. Even the owner acted like he didnt need the business.....

Heard a lot of good things about this shop. Was dissapointed to say the least. Went in with cash to spend and was insulted so badly I left. Ive never before been told I couldnt afford something when I ask to purchase it. Undoubtedly good manners are not a priority at this shop. Always heard an armed society was a polite one, Guess I found an exception...

It seems like they are under new ownership and will be changing names soon. The new owners were really friendly and helpful. They showed me some solid options for my budget and discussed the pros and cons of different brands when I asked. I never felt like they didnt have time to teach me or help me out. Overall, I was very happy with my experience.

This is the only gun shop I will buy from, from now on. They have a very friendly and helpful staff that doesnt bug or pressure you like some stores where u feel like a used car salesman is trying to swindle you and they have The best prices by far compared to all the gun shops in the middle tn area. I highly recommend you check them out

I did not have a very good experience there. I went in and waited patiently for help and there was only one other customer. No one spoke a word to me and finally asked for what I was looking and I received a smirk and nope and that was it. Extremely rude wouldnt recommend wasting your time
