I am a Knoxville native and one of my favorite things to do is enjoy retail therapy at this mall however on my recent visit today I was not thrilled with the experience that I had. I went to buy a pair of raybans at sunglass hut the one near Arie on that side of the mall and when I walked in I was the only person immediately bombarded by the sales lady who asked me if I needed help with anything I politely told her no and continued to browse at their merchandise .... however the entire time I was there this particular lady kept following me around the store as if I were going to take the display sunglasses! This is very upsetting as I work hard for my money just like everyone else and I understand that malls have issues with theft and that sort of thing but it wasnt right for that lady to profile me just because of the color of my skin I hate to say that but she didnt pay close attention to anyone else in the store the way she did to me... everyone doesnt steal

This is a very nice mall with many great stores but I continue to have trouble with the carnival atmosphere of the some of the Kiosk workers. I have mentioned this problem a few times over the past years to mall management and they are always very receptive to stopping it. But apparently it will not be stopped. I always feel as though I must walk very fast and act like I am late in order to get by some of these workers who step out to speak or offer me a sample to get me to stop. I really hate it. It makes the whole mall experience less relaxing. For this reason alone I do not like the mall and rarely shop there. I wonder if other shoppers feel the same way. I know many of the clerks in the stores feel this way as I have spoken to them about it. Is it best to keep the Kiosk and drive customers away or would it be best to do away with all of the Kiosks? Tough question.

To be fair, Im probably one of the few women that just absolutely hates going to the mall. That said, I used to like West Town more than I do now. It has just gotten more chaotic over the years & the public areas are really showing signs of wear (broken/cracked tiles, marked walls, dirty floors) since it does not appear to be maintained like it used to. This is especially true in the food court area - the floor feels like an ice skating ring it is so coated with grease and nasty, seems like the tables are always dirty, & half the chairs are wobbly. The janitorial staff is always in the area and seem to be working diligently, but theres just not enough of them to keep up with the volume of people. Also, the mall really needs to concentrate on after hours cleaning to make the during business hours more manageable.

I understand the frustration that has been expressed. After a total of 7 hours of driving (multiple trips), and my return trip home would total about 9 hours on the road I finally came home with new 3GS to replace my 3G which just would not work with the continuing iOS upgrades. The A store employees were never rude or non-caring. They just had no authority. I really believe they were just being good employees. Finally, they realized the continuing attempts to find a "fix" just would not work. The GM finally exercised the managerial muscle she had (all along) & I am now very happy with my 3Gs. I am currently running 4.2.1 smoothly. Im sure as the iOS upgrades continue things will start to clog up with this one. But by that time I will have upgraded. All in all, thumbs up to the Kville, TN gang.

What better place The best place for shopping is West Town Mall. When walking in you see many different stores, such as clothing, toy stores, Kitchen Aid stores, jewelry stores, and food courts. The multitude of clothing stores is overwhelming, you have everything from baby clothing to adult size clothing. The toy stores you will see children playing with games, trucks, and video games. In the food court you can smell all the orders coming from the center of the building. The smell of pizza, Chinese, Ty food, and Mexican food is overwhelming to the senses. The Kitchen Aid stores sell many different items like mixers, toasters, pots and pans, spoons and forks, and towels. West Town Mall is a mega shopping place where you can spend lots of time shopping and spending money.

This mall is OK. The one thing I do not like about it is that you have the vendors in the middle that constantly ask you "can I ask you a question". If you were interested in their product you would be stopping at their booth you would not need them to be hounding you. That is one of the reason I dont like going to West Town. They pretty much know they are the only place to shop. Its a shame that East Town has not kept up the stores because it would be great to have some competition. if you are looking for petite clothing that is fashionable and stylish you pretty much have two choices to find it Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft (Turkey Creek) No one else carries petite sizes in the stores.

West Town has a wide variety of stores. There are plenty of clothing stores for kids, as well as the Disney store and Build a Bear. Theres a baby specialty store and numerous clothing stores for teens and adults. Lunch Box is a fun store for those who want items based on movies, games and TV shows. Some things you may have to ask someone from a different generation about! They have clothes, luggage, accessories, etc. There are jewelry stores and specialty stores such as Mori, Brookstone, Vera Bradley and Williams Sonoma. Anchor stores are Belk, Sears, Penneys and Dillards. Theres a food court, Cheesecake Factory and Longhorn Steakhouse if you get hungry.

This is the nicest indoor mall in the Knoxville area. The store selection offers plenty of options for any budget, style, or demographic. The facilities are modern and include a food court as well as a movie theatre. The food selections are eclectic as well. The bathrooms are located in the main food court in the center of the mall. My only complaint is that they have a train giving children rides around the mall year-round. The train operators assume they have the right-of-way over foot traffic by default. Given the amount of foot traffic its wise to steer clear of the train unless you enjoy narrowly missing having your foot removed.

I used to love going shopping here and spending time here with friends. However today when I was just walking around I was by myself waiting for info about my nana who is currently in the hospital. Anyways. I had gone to the mall to try on clothes and take my mind off it. I was in a store and asked if I had stolen anything. I was very upset and already being stressed with traveling back to school and being away from my family when someone I am very close to is in the hospital is extremely hard. And then this worker had the nerve to ask if I had taken clothes. Not going back there for a long time I can tell you that.
