My mother went here to have her bathroom kitchen and bathrooms countertops replaced, as well as have new tile installed on the floors in all three rooms. The old tile was already removed. They took advantage of my 70 year old mother and completed sub-par work. Her refrigerator will no longer slide in under her cabinets. The "designer" suggested she get cheap $20 metal bathroom sinks and go with quartz at the same price as granite. They charged almost $600 just to unhook and re-hook up three faucets. The second installer came out and told her to complain to HD about what they sold her and about the shoddy work the previous contractor had completed. They left white mortar mess all the way down the side of her place (yard into drainage). They charged her a huge disposal fee, yet left stuff like an old wax ring seal for toilets sitting in her tubs. The tile in the bathroom, they cut one of the A/C vents off by almost two inches so you cannot reinstall the vent into the hole. The tile under the toilet is off, so you have a 1/8" gap from one tile to the next. Heard of thin set? They then used corner round we had purchased to use in the living room on these projects instead of using their own. Lastly, they did not install the threshold from tile to bedroom carpet between these transitions. We have been trying to contact them, as well as the contractor to come back out, but no one has responded to date. Tisk-tisk Home Depot, taking advantage of the elderly. You should be ashamed.

My kids and I wanted to pick out a Christmas tree, which is supposed to be a fun, happy event. Most all the trees were tied up and either leaning against each other or laying on the ground. I had to find someone to help me and other customers were saying they couldnt get help either. I finally found an employee who was leaning over a shopping cart like he was tired. He did not speak and I still had to wait for him, not knowing if he was coming to help. He did, still not speaking though, and I asked him to untie a few trees for us to look at. He did the first one and I asked how long does it take for the branches to fall back into place. He said he had no clue because he had a fake tree at home. These were his first and only words. I asked him to untie another one, he did then walked away! He never returned! We left and went down the street to a tree tent whoDr employees were more than willing to help us. They explained the pricing and attached our tree stand to the tree we picked out making sure it would stand up straight when we got it home. They even tied it on top of our car. Yes, I paid $20 more, but it was worth it. We knew exactly what the tree looked like with all its branches full. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any Home Depot. It was really a disappointment to my kids who were excited to get our tree. Home Depot, you failed at customer service and quality products!

I had an issue with a brand new Maytag freezer that was delivered on a Friday. It was supposed to be nice and cold within 6 to 8 hours. After two days it was not cold. I understand things going wrong and items being defected, but my problem was, a fully processed hog being delivered on Monday.... and not having a working freezer. I called the store at 8am on Monday morning and spoke to Crystal. She advised that I would get a call back soon(this made me nervous but I was patient). After 30 minutes, Austin called and left me a voice mail. I returned his call quickly. After speaking to Austin, he had already set up a "pick-up" time for Maytag to get the defected freezer from my home AND offered me the Floor model in the store as a replacement(at a $50 discount) due to it being 10 days before Maytag could deliver me a new freezer. Therefore, my processed hog would have a nice and cold freezer to be placed in upon its arrival. This made my day. Within one hour of my complaint, my problem was solved. I never expect anybody or any company to be perfect, I only ask that they work hard to make things right. Austin made things right. Thank you Austin & Home Depot.

The customer service in the kitchen, appliances, and floor departments are fabulous and thats the only reason I gave 2 stars. I had planned on buying an entire kitchen suite, paint, carpet, tile, and hardwoods from this store, but I quickly changed my mind after dealing with their absolutely terrible delivery service people. We had a washing machine delivered and within a week we realized it was not working properly. We had to jump through a lot hoops to get them to agree to replace the washing machine and its been more than a month and we still havent received it. Every time a delivery man is set to come over, they give me a four hour time window and I rearrange my entire day to fit their schedule, and every time they are late. Every. Single. Time. And they dont even bother calling to inform me theyll be late. Terrible service. I will NEVER go to this Home Depot again because they clearly have no qualms contracting out work to awful companies with terrible customer service.

Have been trying to buy some new flooring for about a week. On purpose we picked product from their 72 hour install list. They sent some guy to measure 2 days later. He was rude and discourteous even when I offered cold drinks. The next day, some woman called from a call center somewhere to tell me they would not remove the existing carpet because it was too dirty. When I asked why, she yelled at me. We are now at the 72 hour mark. Tried to talk to the people at the store. They are nice people but really dont care. One man in the flooring department simply would not stop talking long enough to hear what I had to say. I even went to tell them that I would remove the carpet myself but they just simply are so stuck into their systems my needs did not matter. I left a message for the store manager to call but I guess he doesnt care either. Oh well, they lost sales of at least $5000!

Disclaimer I am a Lowes employee, but we do not carry the shark bites for plumbing and I here they are the best on the market so I went late Wednesday May 11 right before closing and the plumbing pro helped me tremendously! I even bought a few just incase pieces and since I did not use them they were returned today. Absolutely no complaints. Keep up the good work. I really wish I could elderberry the associate that helped me Wednesday night

Nice, friendly but like many stores, training has declined. More than once Ive been sent to the wrong location, folks in the garden department know little about plants or products they sale, etc. Something heard from others - lots of congregating in groups while the store is virtually empty. Great if you know what you want, where it is and how it works.
