(I only short this place a full 5-star rating because my interactions with them were almost entirely related to a faulty product which should have been tested more thoroughly; long story short, they took care of my problems totally satisfactorily, but I feel its only fair that I reserve the full 5-star rating for a situation where there are no issues to begin with.) I purchased a dishwasher at a fairly significant discount with the intent to bang out a few dents and touch up some scratches. However, when I got it home and installed it, I found that part of the door seal was missing and it had a small but steady leak out the bottom front. I arranged a free service call, but the techs who came were from A&E Factory Service (if youre in their service region, you might take this as a warning). They came the next day and ordered the replacement part, but when it arrived five days later, they told me it was broken in transit. So, they reordered and came back in about five days to install the part, but then a new tech came and said that he also needed to order the screws for the part, which would take at least another week. That guy (John) was the worst... incredibly rude. I dont expect a repairman to be a social butterfly, but when youre going into peoples houses, you need a certain baseline of decorum. Lee, the first tech, was still sympathetic and cool despite forgetting to order the screws---no complaints about him. Anyway, I called the Sears Outlet and explained that I know the service issues arent their fault, but I have to hold somebody accountable, and since they sold me the dishwasher I had to ask them to help make it right (as the Sears service line is literally a call center in India and the service people are yet another third party). A manager, Stephanie, was super helpful and didnt pass the buck about the service issues. We took the dishwasher back today, and it was a hassle to de-install it, but it turned out alright. We worked with a salesperson named Ashley to find a new one, and she was incredibly helpful as well; there were no other dishwashers for the same price as the one we were exchanging, but there was a similar model with a somewhat higher price, so she spoke to Stephanie about our options, and Stephanie offered to either arrange free installation, or take a significant amount off the price of the new dishwasher. We opted to install it ourselves (seeing as wed already installed a similar model), and everything has gone well so far. Obviously you need a bit of technical knowledge to shop here, since many products are returned and cant be tested as vigorously as you would in-home, but overall their customer service more than compensated for the dud dishwasher slipping through the cracks. The dishwasher pissed me off so bad I was worried Id be writing a bad review right now, but they truly blew me away by taking responsibility and making everything right, even though it wasnt all their fault. They ended up being a great example of how to handle an issue like this.

We went to the store looking for an upright freezer. There were two in stock, each had a price tag of $450 and one was labeled as sold. We left the store to shop around. A couple of days later we went back and there was only one freezer and it didnt have a price tag on it. After waiting for an hour (there were only 2 people working) we were assisted by an employee and informed him that we wanted to move forward with the freezer purchase and wanted to make sure the one on the floor wasnt the one that had previously been marked "sold". We were told it wasnt, it was available for purchase but he would need to find the price tag. He remembered us being in the store a couple of days before and remembered the price being $450 but would have to find the label to sell it to us. He couldnt find the label and, based on the serial number of this unit, the price in their computer was $650 - a $200 different. He asked if we could call the manager and talk to her and shared shed be back in the store at 8:00 p.m. We waited until 8:30 to call, she still wasnt in the store. The salesperson was nice and said he would talk to her and one of them would call back. Two days later we received a call back from the salesperson who said they would honor the $450 price but we would have to wait to pick it up on Wednesday (this was a Saturday) because they had a special that would get it to the $450 price. On Wednesday we go to the store to purchase the freezer (cash, not on a payment plan) and the manager tells us the best she can do is $550. Of course we explained that wasnt what we were told. She (not so politely) told us that was the best she could do. We go to leave and she said "wait a minute, it looks like I can go down to $500 but that is the very best that we can do". Reluctantly we made the purchase because we really liked the freezer. But this simple appliance purchase took over a week and SEVERAL hours of us trying to help the staff there with pricing THEIR items. Honestly, if another retailer would have had this type of freezer (stainless steel, upright) then I would have paid more NOT to have purchased it from the Sears Outlet.

I ordered a refrigerator online after looking at it in person. I received a timely phone call to confirm the purchase and was told I would receive a telephone call the night before my scheduled delivery to give me a two hour window. The day before delivery, I received an email cancelling my order. I called the customer help line and was advised the email was an accident and I would receive my refrigerator on the date given. After not receiving a call to let me know when the "delivery window" was, I called and was advised my delivery date was moved 5 days later without my knowledge. Thanks, Sears, I cleared out my appointments for a Tuesday for no reason whatsoever.

We recently purchase a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator.at the Sears Outlet in Hendersonville, TN. We were pleased with the selection available to us, plus the Monet we saved. Susan, the manager was so kind and gracious in helping us with our purchase and getting it delivered on the date we requested. The two men who delivered our refrigerator were very good. They were careful in moving it into out home to the kitchen. Our experience at this store was positive that we have recommended it to others, and we definitely will return there to purchase other items as our needs occur.

Clean and organized establishment. Customer service is AWESOME, very friendly and willing to help and answer question without hesitation, very knowledgeable on the products they sell. (they dont follow you around trying to push products on you to make the sale). If a few scratches and dings dont matter to you and you want to $ave some money, this is the place to come to. They also have a website to see what they have. Drove an hour and it was well worth the drive to get the saving. I recommend this place 100%

Ive had wonderful experiences here. I get all my small appliances and kitchen ware here (knives, iron, silverware...) and last year we purchased our washer here and saved a fortune. Unbeatable prices and wonderful customer service. We will continue to shop here in the future and recommend Sears Outlet to friends and family.
