What an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! BY FAR the worst retail experience EVER. I purchased a "Managers Special" Acer desktop computer. They had three left, and I was told they were all "Open Box" items, hence the "Managers Special" price. This is where the old cliche, "If its too good to be true, it probably is," kicks in. I was told they were all "NEW" units that were either store demos, or computers opened at the store for inspection. I asked specifically if any of the units were returned by customers, and two different sales people told me they were not. Additionally, most big box retailers like Electronic Express that offer nationwide warranties, dont allow computers returned by customers to be sold as "New." When one is returned, they are sold as "refurbished" at heavily discounted prices, simply because the hard drives are completely erased and reinstalled to avoid spreading computer viruses. I trusted what they told me, purchased one and took it home. I made the switch at my office two days later. I connected everything, powered it up, and immediately got error messages that said there was nothing on the hard drive. In other words, the hard drive had been erased and whoever erased it "FORGOT" to reinstall Windows 10 and all other software that was on it. That means I was sold a computer that had been returned, which I was assured by two sales people was not the case. I will NEVER visit an Electronic Express store again. Their sales people are all paid via commission, so theyll tell you anything to fatten their paycheck. I returned the unit, and after a heated exchange with a manager FINALLY got my money back. They wanted me to try another one, but I refused. Buying here was a complete waste of my time, and I will never do it again. And you can bet I will tell everyone that wants to listen what happened. And retailers are wondering where all their customers are going? Experiences like the one above are a huge part of the problem. Good riddance!

Went in to buy computer speakers and had no real preference. Went in and said I am looking for speakers. They go ahead and ring me up but then they tell me that they dont have any in back and that the only one they have is the one there. They did not discount me for the slightly used product and that it was not new in box. I said, as long as it works as it is not a big deal. I get home and the left speaker does not work. I check the configuration and make sure that the speaker is setup as most are usually plug and play. Then I check the brand and low and behold, there was a sale online on their website that they were not even aware of. I go to the store and say I want a refund and the guy tries for five minutes but finally gets it to work as it should. Says that it is probably an issue with the new computer that I just bought. However, shifted the price of the used merchandise as the difference between the two. I just now tested another computer and the left does not work. It is an issue with the used merchandise. I made a mistake shopping there.

Lots of used stuff that they are trying to pass off as new. Lots of 2012 merchandise that is barely functional. Store is kind of dirty, displays are unkempt. Some of the MSRPs listed are up to 150% of actual MSRP, with the new discounted closeout prices (no warranty) at or near the actual MSRP. If you call them out on it, and actually show them the real MSRP, and the evidence that whats in the box is used, they get confrontational. I dont know what they are trying to pull, but I would avoid this place. You arent actually getting what you paid for, its just an illusion. Shop Amazon warehouse deals for equivalent or better items at much lower cost.

They may have a a lot of good deals but do not mess with the Acceptance Now people , I bought a washer and dryer from them on a rent to own situation and paid it off and then got a TV, I was never late on a payment and I returned it per the agreement and actually basically paid for the TV and then returned it in perfect condition and tried to buy something else and they wouldnt do it because I did not keep the TV and allow them to continue to extort money from me , youve been warned.
