FIVE STARS!!! Mr. Awesome and I love this place. We make sure to stop and eat at the cafe whenever we just passing through or visiting friends. We usually eat their Loas food and make it spicy, the Loas way which is spicier than Thai. We live 3 hours away from the King Market so we order 4-5 dishes to eat there and order a few more take home to eat for our dinner later too. There are a lot of none spicy food on the menu and even the spicy ones you can ask them politely not to put any chili in your dish as well. The service is always great. To be honest, I dont care for the oldest son that works in the cafe sometimes. He might get too tired to do his job and cant put any smile on his face but dont be rude. The 3 young guys are great! They were awkward when theyre younger but they know what theyre doing and do it well. They still dont smile a lot but never rude nor lacking anything to complain about. The parents are alway wonderful and sweet. So they are the saving grace for the bad service the oldest son gave to some customers. The price is great for the most delicious food and generous portions we get every time, its a great deal. Good news! They have expanded the cafe area to better serve the high demands. That space used to be their diamond and gold shop! Just a prove of how popular their name and reputation get out. We always recommend King Market Cafe to our friends who want to eat yummy Thai/Loas food. Try their food even youre not the biggest fan of Thai/Loas food. And they will change your life forever. Saab-E-Lee! Means very delicious in Loas. Thanks, King Market Cafe!

Of all the restaurants I could have chosen...... no doubt, wrong choice.... for sure! I wanted to celebrate with my wife and kids we ordered soup, fried rice and my wife decided to try something that look good off the menu. When the food came every one was excited but my wife did not like the aroma of her dish when she tasted it she immediately called the waitress and said she could not eat it, That she would like to order something else for dinner. The waitress put the order in and then came back to the table and said..... would we like to take the order that she could not eat to go... we told her no.... she said well you still have to pay for it. I told her I like to speak to the manager. When he came he said it was not their fault my wife didnt like the food. As you can probably guess it went down hill from there. He then said do you still want the other plate you ordered .....which she was so upset she just lost her appetite.... so she canceled the other order. The kids were upset and did not want to eat because mom was not going to eat.... I had to force myself to eat because I had skip lunch. I Wont be back !!!! There are many other restaurants that deserve my business this is not one that even knows the meaning of the word customer service or even can spell satisfaction......

I was SO SKEPTICAL about this place. One of my coworkers dragged me and two others here, and we pull up to a market and walk in and around and theres a little restaurant in the corner! I looked through the menu quite a bit, until I decided on one of the salads.... not going to lie, I dont remember exact name. It was the one at the bottom right corner, that had lime juice, carrots, bell peppers, jalapeños, cilantro..... It was DELICIOUS. And oh god ridiculously spicy - I should have got that Thai tea to have the dairy cool down the spicy. I got the one with beef, as the waiter recommended, and it was tasty and tender. And the whole mixture just tasted so good, wasnt overly spiced but had a TON of flavor. It BURNED SO GOOD. Also, our waiter was sassy and hilarious and helpful. Plus. Overall, Id definitely come here again. But Id get some chocolate soy milk from the market and bring it in to eat with the meal, ha. Tasty Thai,

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Nashville. Im an Aussie, and being so close to Asia we are spoiled for tasty Thai & Malay cuisine. It is also very common to find small Asian grocery stores back in Oz, and I used to frequent those stores. I have also traveled to Asia many times including to Thailand. When I moved to Nashville I was craving my usual Asian cuisine and grocery store. When I stumbled across King Market I was overjoyed!!! I eat and do most of my grocery shopping there now. I LOVE the Pad Malay and the green curry tastes better than some I ate in Thailand! Feels just like being back in Australia having King Market around the corner! Thanks King Market for your friendly service also :-) :-) :-)

Usually go here to eat and buy yummy things. Asian markets are few and far between here and I guess they know that because the man that works there in the grocery, Ling, was so so rude and awful to me. Worst customer service ever. Just made me never want to return. Such an awful way to treat another human. His service was the equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears while slamming the front door in someones face.

I dont really have time to write a full review that Long Market deserves, but I eat here at least once a week. Someone mentioned in a review that they arent friendly, but that couldnt be further from the truth. Great portions, excellent prices, and FANTASTIC food. I get the iced coffee and spring rolls every time.

Ive been here so many times over the past 5 years and I have never been disappointed! They have changed the menu up a little and lost some things I really liked, but put other things on that I also really love. It would be nice if they had even more choices because Ive tried pretty much everything.

In the corner of this Asian grocery store resides this small restaurant. The King Market sausage was an unexpected delicacy, and also the salads and fried rice were very good. It is not an easy to reach place after work when coming from Nashville, but it definitely worth venturing to this place.

Me and my family are from Alabama so they dont have Thai stores here and every time we come here, the checkout lady never say hi or how are you. She never smile at us, when I ask her a question, she replied and some attitude. I love the store but I have never felt welcome every time Im there.

Best restaurant for lunch around Antioch area if you are into Asian food. It is always fresh, prices are great, and probably best green curry in town. With the expansion of the restaurant recently it has been less of a wait for lunch so thats a big plus.

You wont regret it. Just go in, turn right at the dog meat, left at the cat and strait through the "This might be a fish of some sort?" and youll land right at the restaurant and have some of the best Thai food this side of the Mississippi.
