I shop at the Target in Rock Hill, SC nearly everyday. I recently had a very negative experience where a CSM named Amanda was very rude to me. It is not my responsibility to make sure the sale signs Target has up are current and it is not my problem that Target has to honor that price. Perhaps Amanda should be put in charge of making sure all the old signs are removed. I would never have been treated so rudely at CVS. Every other time I shop at Target, the Gerber Pure Life water gallons are empty. Is water a hot commodity these days? I was told that Target was having a hard time getting the water from the manufacturer...funny...BiLo doesnt have that issue. I had an issue in the pharmacy where I was told my medication wasnt covered. Upon calling the insurance company, I was told it was and to have the pharmacy call them directly about billing. Lane told me it wasnt, he knew what he was doing, and "This isnt my first time at the rodeo." I wanted to exchange one sweater for another. Same sweater, different size. I didnt have my receipt but I had used my Red Card (Targets credit card.) Dottie gave me quite a fuss, needed my license, and took about 20 minutes to complete the "transaction." This is all after she tried to tell me it wasnt purchased at Target. I had just bought it that morning on Black Friday. I have to wait in line for one of the four registers to be avaliable. If I wanted to wait in line all day, I would shop at Wal-Mart. And finally, it is so hot in there that sometimes I feel like Im going to faint. Target is very clean, I like the colorful displays and decor, and I love most of the things I purchase but the shopping experience has got to get better or else me and my hard earned money will be elsewhere.

Never had an issue until tonight.. store was packed due to Christmas shoppers, I wait in line to checkout and upon entering my Target Card PIN number I got an invalid pin message. So I tried again.. same result. So I decided to use my regular bank card.. Guess what invalid PIN number message. I say to the clerk something has to be wrong with your system. She tells me I need to contact my bank. Hello lady it gave me the same message for both cards. I KNOW MY PIN NUMBERS. Then she says well maybe its your credit limit. That embarrassed me to no extent because I KNOW MY AVAILABLE CREDIT and how much is in my bank account besides it was not declined it said invalid pin. So she ends up processing the card as credit and it was accepted. However I was left there looking like an idiot because of her comment in front of other shoppers. How freaking rude of her. Shame on you Target obviously something was going on with your system and your employee feels the need to make rude comments to customers. I havent ever even experienced this type of issue at Walmart and that is saying a lot.

This took place at 1900 Springsteen rd rock hill sc. I was in line this morning in electronics. There was a woman cashier and she was helping this gentleman check out. I was in line behind him and then this woman came up and asked this man cashier for the Nintendo system that went on sale in stores today. The man cashier said to the woman that it was the last one. I told the man cashier that I have been waiting in line for it. The man cashier said… do you have a ticket? I said no. He said they are first come first serve. I told him that I had been waiting patiently in line. He said there will be another truck at 8am tomorrow. There was only one woman cashier on the register. The woman skipped line and the male cashier checked her out. Is this the kind of service target promotes? That waiting patiently in line gets you nothing. That its fine for customers to butt in line to get what they want? So I contacted chat on Target. And got an apology from someone who didnt do anything. That was just them "checking a box"

Your average Target, presented in a very warm way, and when I say warm, its you better bring a sweat towel warm. Employees walking around hanging clothes, sorting shelves, scanning products, sweating. My cashier was even wearing a sweat band! The staff is very friendly, and is consistently available to assist if necessary. The store is well kept (for the most part, pushing a cart through the shoes section at times could require a 4 wheel drive cart), very clean and sterile, but has a need for something (music) to drown out the crying babies, beeping scanners, and noisy trash cans and carts. The electronics section could use an upgrade, as it feels very late 90s or early 00s with the way the product is presented. Other Targets do it much better with carpet, display tables, and a giant video wall.

Im giving this store two stars because the manager Sean was understanding, kind and sounded like he was going to do something about the situation. The dressing room ladies were incredibly rude to my boyfriend. When I was trying on my garments I heard them continuely talk trash about him. I approached them about what I heard and one of the employees laughed it off. This is the first time I had anyone at Target be openly disrespectful.

Always clean and polite staff. The lines so get long because they do not keep a lot of lanes open but this is typical of most Targets. Also, they always try to get you to sign up for the Target red card but it takes several minutes to sign up and they want you to type in personal information like your SSN on the spot with other people around. Not a very secure way to get a credit card for a few bucks off.

Good all around shopping experience. Fairly typical Target experience really : clean store, friendly attentive staff when you need them, well stocked shelves. However, I do find the rack spacing in the clothing departments at tad bit tight for negotiating a cart full of kids or a stroller at times, and the parking lot is always busy Ive found so best to park further from the door than hunt for a spot.

This locations restroom facilities were awful. I thought I walked into a Walmart bathroom...Target youre better than this. The womans restroom seriously needs an upgrade, with all the money your guest spend at your stores you cant tell me there is not a budget for a nice restroom facility. Maybe its the location, so thankful to be moving away from Rock Hill in a month...

I am normally a big fan of Firehouse, but this was not a very enjoyable trip. Drink machine was out of ice and the food took what seemed like close to 30 minutes. The kids were crying for food by the time it arrived. There were 4 or 5 workers, but most didnt seem to be doing much. Hopefully this was a one time bad trip.

I know alot about stores in my area, because I audit many. Target has a very nice staff and their prices are good, especially with their coupon application. Stay away from the seasonal when you walk in or you will definitely spend money! The items are adorable! Especially for school age children.
