My fiancé, son and I visited today and had an incredible experience. The entire staff -- from the owner, Michelle, down through the ranks -- extended first-rate customer service, unrivaled by any coffee shop in the Charleston area. We ordered a couple of specialty coffees; a turkey BLT; and a chocolate chip muffin, all of which were to die for! Whenever were in the mood for coffee, we always try to take in a place with a uniquely local vibe, thats not of the cookie-cutter, nationalized franchise variety. Southern Brews definitely delivers because their food is fresh, well-prepared, and theyre generous with their portions, all for a fair and reasonable price. Theyre not serving you the traditional overpriced, subpar "hockey puck" sandwiches youll find on other franchises menus, for example. Same story with the coffee -- quality through-and-through. Well be back to Southern Brews, not only for the amazing coffee and good eats, but also for the quality people who exude superior customer service. If youre in Charleston -- particularly if youre headed toward Kiawah Island -- put this gem on your "Must Hit" list.

Coffee is hot and delicious, staff is warm and friendly, service is quick and with a smile. These guys know how to run a business. The outdoor area is great with the free wifi (nice touch), so its good for a quick drive thru OR chilling outside and working on the laptop for a bit. Great central location is easy to find. EXCITED to have these guys open up shop. Perfect stop for us when visiting family in Charleston. TWO THUMBS UP! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!

What could be more convenient than Drive-Thru coffee!? Visited this cute local shop on my last visit to Charleston. We were greeted with a smile from the owner, Michelle, and my latte was delish garnished with chocolate covered espresso beans. If I lived close by, this would be my regular, everyday coffee stop. Check it out! I highly recommend Southern Brews Coffee.

Incredibly slow drive-thru. Food tastes like it came out of a cardboard box and is way over priced. The red head that served me at the window was very rude and i over heard her making racial slurs while waiting for my order. Needless to say I will never be going there again. Her comments disgusted me.

As a mother and coffee enthusiast I would highly recommend this coffee as a must try! You can drive thru without the hassle of getting the kids out of the car AND still get great service and very high quality coffee! I love this place! Cold pressed ice coffee is my favorite!

They only get 4 stars because I like to be able to sit in a coffee shop, and they are a drive through. I had their ABC sandwitch and thought it tasted wonderful. there coffee always comes out quick and aslo tastes good. If your near by its a great place to stop by.

Best coffee drive thru ever!!! The cold press coffee is great, the sandwiches are delicious, and the smoothies and gelato are a great way to keep cool in the Charleston heat. They even carry Nutty Goodness bars! Very friendly and charming staff as well.

Their coffee is the BEST. I always get an iced latte and it is the best caffeine jolt I can find. I dont feel like Starbucks does anything at all for me but Southern Brews packs a punch. I wish I still worked nearby!

Theres only a drive through. Its ridiculous. They need to put in a counter so you can park and order inside.
