I shopped in the Conway Thrift Store at the end of the day, and discovered a large mistake on my receipt and after running back to the store was told the register had been closed out for the day and that nothing could be done. When the manager was called the lady in charge conveniently left out the fact that it was a $32 discrepancy, and that I lived 35 minutes outside of town. I dont guess that would have mattered anyway because when I called and spoke with the manager the next day I was told I wouldnt even be able to get my refund at the store! It had to be sent to their accountant!! So when I did get back into Conway, I believe 5 days later, no one even apologized for anything other than the fact that I was upset because of such a ridiculous refund policy!! I did get a mildly empathetic "Im sorry" as I walked out of the store. I couldnt even get any statement other than the accountant will get this on Monday. No attempt to even say Ill tell her to get this to you as soon as possible, NOTHING! I will never ever set foot in a Salvation Army Thrift Shop again!
