I had such a fun trip to this jo-anns. My boyfriend is so clueless to the craft store life especially when it comes to fabric. First time he didnt realize you get what you need cut and thought I was vuying whole rolls of fabric. So this trip as I was looking around he went to find some foam he needed for a giant tub he keeps his storm trooper armour in for traveling. He grabbed a roll and came to find me to see what I thought. But when he came up to me he had nothing and told me he got into trouble. I guess someone who worked there told him he needed to get it cut. He was so upset and embarrassed he didnt tell them he was looking for me to see if that would work for his project. Which was silly to me and although my experience was okay. I felt as if they shouldnt have said anything. He could have been shopping still. Just weird. Also the cashier was nice but he took my phone for the coupons. I was under $2 away from using a $10 off coupon and he didnt ask if i wanted to put the flowers i put back to make up for it to save the $10. I worked in retail before and felt a little weird ge didnt say anything. So i asked and he said i couldnt combine coupons. Well he just took my phone away from me and used any coupon he wanted! But other than those 2 things everything was good. Plus its the only one thats close to where I live. We drove 45 min to get there!!!

Big store, big selection. Very clean. Bathrooms were nice. Waiting in line at the cutting table takes forever. The register too. They never seem to have enough staff on the weekend which is weird considering weekends are usually pretty busy. Staff is friendly but stretched too thin. Also, not all of the staff is knowledgeable about where things are. On one occasion when I asked where to find the bobbins, a basic sewing machine necessity, the staff looked confused and told me they had no idea what that even was. It took me a whole 15 minutes to find them because no one seemed to know what the item was.

Customer service needs to be more helpful and welcoming when it comes to new people trying to take the sewing/craft classes. Spent way too much time on the phone regarding a class, then coming in to try to take the class with little to no direction on the front end to get us started. We ended up leaving and not able to take the class my daughter and I preregistered for. There was great anxiety on the front end leading us to have to leave the highly anticipated class we hoped to participate in. We never met the instructor nor were we invited in any hospitable way toward our anticipated end.

Was a weird vibe the whole time I was in here. Was stared at the entire time I was here, bought some material and had it cut and the employees seemed like they resented me being there. Almost like a discomfort of sorts or they were wondering why a black guy was in there. Rather than ask, or inquire, it came across in the body language. Friendliest person in there was a younger female cashier, the other employees were older white women

Was not the best I have had. The stickers section is very small compared to others. When I was checking out asked the cashier about using the 40% off coupon and what would come off... after the discount is was $3 and some change, I asked to have it removed so I could use a different coupon to get a bigger discount but she said no and would have to re tender entire order. There was a long line and I was on my way to work.

The cashiers both in the fabric area and front checkout was very, very slow, in fabric dept, there were alot of people just waiting to be served, but no one was there to help for at least 25 minutes, she was up front, even with the bell in area was be rung for help, I was very disappointed with my time spent in Jo-Ann today.

I do not see or do crafts. A friend is helping me cover my dining room chairs and told me to select the fabric. The 3 different staff members who helped me were pleasant and knowledgeable about what kind of fabric to select. They honored my coupon and I got a good deal.

I will not be back. After waiting for two ladies at cut counter despite no one being ahead of me neither exhibited any customer service or behaved liked they wanted to be bothered. I will not be back ill wait for hobby lobby to open next time

Dont ever work here! They with hold your paychecks and it is a very boring work place and get paid next to nothing. So if you like staring at fabric for 5 hours straight its the job for you!
