Called this store at 8:20 this morning to check if they have something in stock before I drove up there. Lady who answered the phone: "thank you for calling hobby lobby, how can I help you?" Me: "good morning, I was calling to check if you have an item in inventory -" Her: "Uh we are closed right now, call back at 9:00!" My husband: "we are not going to that location any more" Since my husband apparently now wants to boycott this location because of one rude attendant, we compromised on leaving this review. Im not gonna let one rude attendant get in the way of me shopping at the store location which is closest to me. But it was very rude! Still gave two stars because the store is like any other the only thing that sets it apart is the people that work there so I hope they take more care with their customers next time someone calls if they answer the phone.

We went to this Hobby Lobby on University City Blvd around 3:30 pm today - 04/19/2013. I needed some clear plastic for a tablecloth from the fabric section. My husband and I were in the aisle were the plastic was and we asked an associate, how much it was. She told us that we should carry the roll to the table where they measure and cut it. We did and when we got there another lady, looked at it and told us that it was too thick for a tablecloth, that the one we wanted should be thinner. She never offered to get the material for us, and even gestured to us to take it back to the aisle and bring the other one to the table. We were shocked with the attitude of both ladies and the very poor service they offered. We decided to leave the store and we didnt buy anything. We had before a good impression of Hobby Lobby, but these two ladies just messed that up.

Totally awful experience with a sales associate. I bought some unfinished wood candlesticks and there was a sign that said any unfinished wood 5.99 and up was 30%off. The sales associate told me that if I thought there was a sign back there I could go try and find it and they would have to honor it. Needless to say there was a sign, and they did honor it, but I really dont appreciate the attitude. If she acts that way with all the customers she needs to be reprimanded if not fired.

We had some canvas prints framed here recently. The store is pretty clean, and is pretty much your standard Hobby Lobby. But this location needs to staff more employees in the framing department. We were waiting for about 45 minutes because the only employee there was busy with other customers. Service was great, but there just seems to be a staffing issue. So make sure you have time to kill.

I love the store but they are under staffed, its hard finding help in this store. If you what you want and are a self shopper you will be fine. Sometimes you might need a little help but it will be a journey looking for someone you might forget what you were looking for originally. You might want to make a lost just in case

Great place for all my crafting needs! Its a lot cheaper than the other stores and theres always a sale. The store is very busy due to the location so customer service is lacking. They really should have more than two registers open.

Karen that works in the back for fabric, horrible customer service. I asked where would the furr fabric be located. She blew her breath and said all the fabrics are back in that section. She was very rude and wont be visiting again.

Love this store. Layed out really well and helpful staff. I buy my needlepoint supplies here and they have an excellent floss selection. I also LOVE their seasonal decorations. Pricing is affordable.
