I havent been here in over a year, but used to go all the time. Service is horrible, but the coffee is usually good. Service is the reason I dont go anymore. Dont expect much from the staff. The people I experienced there seemed highly disturbed/disgruntled with their jobs. Id recommend ordering your drink and getting the heck out of there. Example: They used to keep lemon bars on their counter, right in front of the customer (maybe they still do). I ordered one, reached in to take it, and this bigger guy flipped out on me. Full out swearing. He yanked the whole display of bars off the counter and threw them out. I guess theyre supposed to get them for you. I didnt know. I offered to pay for them all and he refused. His coworker had to tell him to calm down. It was bad. Havent gone back since.

Drip has AMAZING food and coffee. Today was my second time coming and the items are always quality. Today; however, I had a different experience. I was saddened to find the cashier being rude, curt, and overall off-putting. I am unsure if she was simply having a bad day (as we all do) or if she was frustrated with me as a customer (I accidentally grabbed the drink of another customer. I immediately turned to sit the drink back down because I knew it wasnt mine. The cashier yelled at me and was furious over what was an honest mistake). I watched to see if she was rude to other customers as well. It was a very busy morning (10/14 at about 8:15 am) so I was unable to decipher the ongoing conversations. I will return in the future and hopefully have a much better experience.

The highlight of my morning is a Drip scone and a honey vanilla latte. By far, this is some of the best coffee in Columbia, and the creative baked goods are completely unmatched. My love affair with Drip began with a coconut scone and has continued through every flavor Ive experienced since. The establishment has a small, local, and friendly feel where the staff recognize you and genuinely care that youve returned. They obviously put great care into both their food and drink, and it reflects in the quality and taste. Highly recommended.

Coffee is delicious and strong. Service.... sucks. Pretty much everyone that works there is rude, except the owner who is always happy and friendly. The food is good but very overpriced. Nice wine selection. The seats are hard benches and old brown dirty upholstered chairs, so not ideal. But Columbia is very limited on funky little places with character so I overlook the bad seating and pretentious staff and enjoy my strong coffee.

I was referred to Drip by a worker at the Columbia Museum as was grateful for it. I ordered the special which was a shrimp sandwich of some sort. It was served on a ciabatta-like roll with Gruyere cheese if Im not mistaken. Sorry Im not more positive as to what exactly it was, but I can clearly remember that it was very good. :)

The house roast was nutty and rich, just what I was looking for on New Years Day. Popular shop with homemade southern-style biscuit sandwiches among other made-to-order breakfast delights. Clean, great service, hipster college crowd, all gave us a great feeling for Five Points neighborhood.

The BEST staff, awesome teas, and absolute greatest coffee in Columbia. I come here at least 4 days a week!!! Try the Honey Vanilla Latté or Darjeerling tea— so yummy! Theres something for everyone, and food you cant find anywhere else. Cant say enough good things about it!

This location is way way waaaayy better than the location on Main and being in Five Points there will be plenty to do! I recommend any of the single original roasts they have on pour over and the salmon bagel for a tasty bite! You wont be disappointed!

Just ordered a pour over here. They have a great selection of foods at reasonable prices for a coffee shop. They also have lots of coffee options instead of just house coffee everyday. Cool cozy hole in the wall atmosphere. Wifi. Cool Baristas.

I like the atmosphere and the food. Over the years, I have done academic work near other random people also doing academic work here. They are good at combining sweet and savory flavors. My husband found it a bit too hipster for his taste, though.

Im convinced people only come here for the image of not going to Starbucks a few doors down. The coffee has a really acidic flavor and half the food is microwaved (they have way too ambitious a menu for a space with no kitchen).

Yummy coffee and fun food. Nice local vibe and friendly baristas. Two locations in Columbia have very different atmospheres. Cozy coffeehouse at Five Points and bright cafe with outdoor seating on main. Dog friendly.

Honey vanilla lattes and lemon squares are my vice. Not to mention the staff are so wonderful and friendly, they have live music certain nights, and play the best tunes otherwise! Drip is my little haven.

Im not really a coffee person but my sister is and she loves this place. The record store is super cool, and the espresso milkshake is a unique experience, I get it every time.

One of my favorite places in Columbia! Good pour-over coffee sourced from Counter Culture, friendly staff and good food. It can get crowded in the mornings so beware.

Drip has budget friendly prices for meals and drinks. The atmosphere is like a small college town coffee shop. The food is delicious and the coffee is just as good!

Best coffee in columbia, I visit this place religiously. The chipotle pimento cheese, pancetta and egg biscuit is one of the best things Ive ever put in my mouth.

I LOVE this coffee shop! I usually go to the Main St. location, but they are both great. Wonderful food, great service, best dirty chai latte in town :)

Coffee, tea, beer and wine. Coffee shop ambience that Star-five-bucks cant match! Only recommendations would be to have vegan baked goods all day.

Really nice courteous staff, cool location with old vinyls to flipthrough and a gelato place next door. The coffee is truly the best in Columbia.

These people know their stuff when it comes to atmosphere, and coffee. I love going in for anything from breakfast, to chatting with the staff.

This is the only place in Columbia to get premium, hand-pour coffee, with very good espresso drinks as well. They use Counter Culture beans.

Its a great place to sit down and have an actual cup of coffee. Its cheaper than Starbucks and there is a gelato shop connected to the shop.
