Despite promised to remove old bedding when they delivered our new mattresses and box springs, Mattress Firms South Kingstown warehouse refused to haul away the older metal springs and bedding foundation. We ended up canceling the order entirely because we didnt want to have to dispose of heavy springs and bedding supports ourselves. Anyone who lives in South County knows that rubbish removal is a hassle. We dont have a truck to drive to the dump. We expected that "removal of old bedding" didnt include exceptions for those whose old beds are ancient. Ill end up buying from a Rhode Island-based store now and avoiding Mattress Firm based on this experience.

I walked in to just check out a twin mattress as my first stop. Matt was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to allow me to try out nearly all the mattresses and when one of the least expensive mattresses was what I felt best on, he did not try to up-sell me at all... in fact he found a current promotion to discount it so much that I decided to by two and make a king size out of them. I crossed the street to check the competitor prices and they couldnt come even close! Thanks again Matt! We will be suggesting this store to our patients in our chiropractic office...

I ordered a mattress, box spring and bed on Oct 10, and still do not have all the pieces to the bed. Now sleepys is being bought by mattress firm and they will not be able to tell me if they can rectify the problem until the merge is complete on October 28!! Meanwhile, my $1600 mattress set is on the floor and the bed is unusable. Do not shop here. Furniture is expensive, so shop at a furniture store that has staying power and get the customer service you have paid for and deserve. Its not at sleepys or mattress firm.

The staff in this store was extremely warm and welcoming. Matt, the assistant manager, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure that I purchased a mattress that I was most comfortable with. With his knowledge, he gave me suggestions and advice that made the buying process so easy, quick, and professional. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a mattress!

I was concerned that they asked for my drivers license number and associated information as part of their waiver to let you take a mattress yourself instead of have them deliver it. I had to firmly refuse; seems like it could unnecessarily facilitate identity theft.
