My wife and I were looking for a used vehicle for her. Our current vehicle was older and due for replacement. As we pulled up and got out of our vehicle, Sherman Jones met us outside, introduced himself, and asked what brought us in. I explained that we had seen a vehicle in their online inventory and told him we were interested in that vehicle. Sherman brought us into his office, offered us some beverages and was very personable. We had our two kids (ages 3.5 and 1) with us, and Sherman understood that there would probably be some interruptions and rolled along nicely with the situation. As it turned out, the vehicle that we had gone in for had been moved to the auction earlier that day. Sherman asked us some questions to find out what was most important to us in a vehicle, took that information and found several alternate vehicles that they had in stock. After a few misses, we found a vehicle that we were interested in. After we test drove the car, we made the decision to move ahead with the sale. We advised Sherman what price point we were comfortable with and he took that information to Dennis and they worked their magic. Sherman made sure to come back to his office and let us know what was going through the entire process. We were informed that they were almost positive we could get something worked out. Upon the inspection of the vehicle that I completed after our test drive, I noticed the tires were a pretty worn and starting to dry rot (it was a used vehicle and appeared to be normal wear for the year/miles). Being in the insurance industry and having knowledge in the automobile field, I asked Sherman if there was anything we could do about the tires. My best hope was for 4 new tires. Sherman spoke with Dennis and two minutes later came back and advised that they would take care of the tires for us. We moved on to Vinnies office. In Vinnies office, we got down to business with the loan, what solid numbers we would be looking at. Vinnie was also very personable and accomodating with the kids in his office. We discussed everything and due to it being a Saturday, not all the banks responded in a timely manner. Vinnie spoke with one of the banks and when he was off the phone, advised that he was 95% sure he could get us to the payment we were looking for. We picked up the vehicle today and the payment was within $2.00 of where he gave the 95% chance for. As far as car dealerships go, Elmwood Dodge has been the most satisfying and easy going process I have encountered. They were honest and up front and made my wife and I feel comfortable. I never once had a feeling that anyone at the dealership was trying to hide anything or pull one over on me. I would like to say a big Thank You to everyone there and recommend this dealership to anyone that needs a vehicle.

(Posting this on my girlfriends account, which is why it says my name is Vanessa, but its really Ben). I had been looking for a used car, something around an 05, that was basically a commuter car with some luxury to go with it. I didnt have a budget that would even allow me to entertain the idea of getting a new car, and the terms of getting a lease were generally awful at the places I had been calling and looking at online. I noticed an 07 jetta with some nice features on elmwood dodges website, and my girlfriend had purchased a car from elmwood dodge before. She wanted me to go in and talk to someone, but I wanted to look online and shop around before I was face-to-face with a sales person. Normally, that would be a responsible thing to do, but in this case it just made me waste a month of my own time looking around. When I got to elmwood dodge, Sherman Jones greeted us when I was ready to talk. I looked at the jetta and decided it looked good, but when I talked to Sherman, he seemed a lot more interested in me than the jetta. After I finished explaining what I had been looking at, who else I had been to, and more, Sherman just wanted to know more about me. Then, he told me that he was going to put me in a brand new car, with more features than my bosses car has, and get it in my budget. At first it sounded too good to believe, but then he showed me the jaw-dropping 2012 Chrysler 200 Touring edition, let me drive it, showed me the numbers, and in no time at all...I now own it. I own a brand new car. I have never owned anything new my whole life. Not only did Sherman sell me a car, he sold me my confidence back. It made me realize that I deserve this car, and somehow, their numbers guys made it work for my very modest budget. In an economy where a dollar needs to stretch into ten dollars, elmwood dodge beat out EVERY single competitor by lightyears. I simply cannot say enough about them. Sherman Jones brings his humanity to the table when he helps you find a car. We were singing in the car together (he has a beautiful voice), had some great laughs, and really enjoyed out time together. Ive never felt like a salesperson was a friend before, but Sherman certainly knows how to make you feel welcome. If anyone really reads this review, you can be certain that a real person wrote this that has no affiliation with elmwood dodge, other than being a customer, and really did walk away with a fully loaded brand new car while shopping for a 5-7 year old car with small budget...and Ive never been happier.

Horrible customer service, (Scott customer adviser a wise Unprofessional deceiving Punk.) he quoted me 2.5 hours labor for my water pump but charged my insurance 3.5 hours for the same job!! Totaling a cost over $659.00. Scott told my insurance & me that my truck was going to be done the same day 1/7/16, I waited over 3 hours, then I was told that my truck was going to be done the next day 1/8/16 before 10 am. I came next day at 10 am. Scott told me the technician was in a doctor appointment, so i waited over 4 hours more, and my truck still wast done.!!! Scott said my signature was to do a free multi point inspection only. But when he over heard me said that I was taking my truck to another shop, He authorized work on my truck with out my consent. Scoot was offended when I told him that they shouldnt take more work than they can handle. He Flipped Out! Carmen cashier no experienced with customer, she was defending Scott for his actions with out knowing the circumstances! She told me Scoot was fallowing protocol!!! REALLY Protocol ! Lies, Greed, Deceiving narrow minded! So when I asked Carmen a question about my bill she left her job site swearing! Sherman car sales was hoping to earn my business in selling me a new vehicle after our number did not work out, I was humiliated, ridiculed, laughed at with few of his coworkers. Jim service manager has his family working there, he seems a nice polite gentleman, But he has no balls to lead or correct his employees / Family. Jim Instead of correcting his employees / family he ignored my greetings. There was not an apology from any one, no a courtesy gestured, no a thank you, no a welcome back. I will Not refer a friend or family with any of this clown that I had to deal with. No one could answer my question on my bill! So I signed and left. April 09 2017 a year later my truck still leaking antifreeze from the water pump, these Mechanics are HORRIBLE. I called few times telling them that I still smell antefreez, they said itshould normal since we work with antifreeze. REALLY! A year later the same water pump leak. !Do not let Any of this HORRIBLE GARBAGE MECHANIC touch your car ! I complaint to Jay the owner a well respected nice man, he said that I demand to much quality work, that Im very strong individual, that I should not trash his employees on the media. That I should do business somewhere else. Really! Knocks my words his business will decline slowly if they continue their horrible service. Wilson ABC 07/18/2017
