I dont want to bash this place. As a parent of active 8 yr old twins I really want to like this place as I am always looking for decent sporting goods at a fair price and believe in recycling. Ive gone to this store 4 times in 2 years and have been left with a bad impression 3 times. The place is junky and poorly organized (to see how it should be done visit Savers off Branch Ave), This store has a lot of sub-par gear that is either too old and out of date (sports technology goes out of date in approx. 3-5 yrs), and the newer gear is more expensive here than similar items that you can easily find online from places that move more units and offer free shipping. I dont know how they stay in business, apparently there are still a lot of people who dont use Craigslist or the internet to find quality items at 40-60%. It certainly is not their customer service which was rude (I came without my children) and lazy. I dont fault the owners it is their choice how they want to run their business. Ill just keep spending my time and money in places that do it better. (i.e. Sports Authority, Pure Hockey, Hockey Monkey, Altrec,) and will check in from time to time to see if things improve. - Signed, "Hope the get it right!"

If youre serious about getting very good sports equipment at a big discount, theres really no place else in the state to go. (PlayItAgain is no longer in business in our area.) When I wanted to get skis for my kids, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful -- buying brand new skis for growing boys is nuts, and if youll ski twice in a year its a much better deal than renting (and you dont use up precious slope time, either). You can trade in the skis next winter (but theres a limit -- when bindings get out of date the skis become effectively worthless). They were also very good for skates last year -- that time I knew what I wanted so I didnt need 2ndTA expertise. I like this place, a lot. Its one of those gems you find tucked away in an old neighborhood, not sitting on Route 2 or in a mall. And these days, when most of us do need to save money, its a real godsend. Oh, and in my experience they do not hate children :-)

Very professional staff who know their products , care about their customers , and charge very fair prices . Store has best variety of sports gear in all of new England . Owners do a wonderful job of maintaining a clean organiized store and sell clean safe equipment to people of all ages. Finally the store and its owner stand behind their products. We are not rude, and we dont hate children we care for there safety of them, when you were in la la land we were watching to make sure you children didnt get hurt as they were climbing all over the equipment, we did tell them to stop after you never said anything to them. NO BOYS OR GIRLS ARE TERRORS its just the parents that are, when they dont know how who to manage them

We have been going there for years. They are always the first place we look when needing to buy any equipment. From baseball gloves to roller blades. Will be going heading in there today to look for ice skates and hopefully they have gymnastic mats for our little gymnast.

Derek and the boys do a tremendous job... The store has all of your sports needs from used to brand new. Their knowledge and experience is top notch. Wouldnt think of going anywhere else for my sporting goods needs.

Store looks cool. But, all the pics except for the skates looks like new gear with tags? Called but could not ask questions before taking the drive.
