This guy is ripping people off. Hes also incredibly rude and forceful with his "sales pitch." FYI the tobacco he is selling there is PIPE tobacco, not cigarette tobacco. The only difference is the width of the cut--the shreds are thicker than cigarette tobacco. Pipe tobacco is fine for RYO cigs. However, that simple change puts it in a different tax class and makes it much, much cheaper. Go into a legit smoke shop that offers tubes and other tobacco--you will see how the price jumps from $5-10 for 6oz or so for pipe tobacco, to about $20-30 for a 5-6oz tin of cig tobacco. This guy is making his sales by comparing the price of cigarette tobacco to his pipe tobacco, misleading customers into thinking its such a great deal. Now for the awful experience that moved me to write this review: my husband was driving me to drop me off at a bus that was leaving quite soon. We were in a hurry, but I wanted to grab tubes before I left. He ran in and it was taking a while. When he returned to the car, he told me about how rude the owner was. Since we were only getting tubes, he was prying about what tobacco I use (American Spirit), and trying to sell his tobacco. My husband repeatedly told him that he was in a hurry to get me to the bus before it left, but he would not stop. He wanted to make a sample for him to try. My husband doesnt even smoke (but he didnt think to tell him that, which MAY have ended his ridiculously forceful sales pitch). He finally agreed that he would take a sample if the guy rolled it quickly. But he took his dandy time and continued talking and gesticulating with his hands, instead of just making the damn cigarette. My husband started backing towards the door, leaving the store before the guy made a smoke for him--which takes 5 seconds to do, anyway. So as we are sitting at the intersection, waiting for the light, the owner runs up to the car and thrusts a cigarette through the window, and says, "Here, I thought Id run one out to you, since you were so RUDE," and then runs away. Yeah....

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went in to this alleged "reputable" business" asking for cigarette tubes. The owner, an unbelievably rude and truly vulgar individual proceeded to ask me what type of tobacco I used to fill said tubes with. He then proceeded to (rather forcefully) sell me some of his alleged "high quality tobacco". Well, some months prior I purchased a cigarette punch machine from him, and at the time he sold me on said tobacco. IT WAS RUBBISH. I have been smoking for some 8 years now and, while not a connoisseur, I am not an imbecile either. THE "CIGARETTE" TOBACCO THIS JOKE OF A BUSINESSMEN FLAGRANTLY PUSHES ON PEOPLE IS NOT CIGARETTE TOBACCO. IT IS PIPE TOBACCO. He sells/pushes this rubbish such that his eventual bottom line is far higher that it would if he ACTUALLY sold decent cigarette tobacco. Well, I (politely) expressed my previous discontent with his tobacco and, I kid you not WAS LITERALLY CURSED AT UNTIL I LEFT THE STORE AND WAS DENIED PURCHASING THE ITEM I CAME TO THE STORE FOR. I have visited many a disreputable business in my time, but I have NEVER been so insulted nor heard such a stream of vulgarity leave the mouth of another human being. And this all occurred simply because I did NOT want to waste my money once more on the garbage he passes for "quality tobacco". My advice: AVOID THIS SHOP LIKE THE PLAGUE. The owner is, and pardon me for saying so, an absolute jerk and WILL curse you out of the shop in a second should you express even the mildest discontent with his business. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and my local Law Enforcement Officials and I can only pray that I am the last customer subjugated to his flagrant disregard for common decency and ethics. -Conner Balickie

If I could have given less than one star I would. The owner, Monty(?) I think he said his name was...was very rude, pushy, and arrogant. His prices are astronomical. He claims to be a"Vape shop"....he doesnt make juice...sells ill flavored prepackaged, pre-manufactured juice....did I mention his process are outrageous!....hes got two little display cases of "starter kits" and ce4 clearomizers... no dripping atomizers and he doesnt even know what they are...I guess the way the market is up here..."its a start"...I hope he does better with his "organic tobacco", but I doubt it cuz he doesnt even smoke and he scoffed at people who do. All I can say is compared to other real Vape shops Ive been to this one was the pits. All the other shops sell products higher than online...of COURSE! They have more expenses with a brick and mortar store, but this guys just gouging people - brings new meaning to the expression "caveat emptor"

Owner is a complete douche. I was going to D&R for some time to use their machines to roll cigs. Some of the machines rolled better than others so I was willing to wait for a machine that I liked. The owner scowls at me and tells me they are the same. The same? Who is smoking these cigs, me or him? Then I show him that some cigs do not fill completely and some are so packed that I cant draw off of them. He tells me that I dont know what I am talking about. He also treats his employees like crap so I decided to never step foot in that little mans store again. I am surprised he is still there with his cheap tobacco.

D and R Discount Tobacco is The best tobacco store in the West Chester area. Monty has the best prices and everything you need from organic tobacco to various types of vaporizers and electronic cigarettes for the lowest prices available on the market. The staff are very informative and make sure you know exactly what youre buying. Love the owner. stand up guy. Always on point. always closing lol. couldnt be happier with the location and theres always parking even though theres always customers. definitely one of my favorite stops in West Chester. The store could use another register though. Maybe two.

Monty was a great, personable, intelligent and very giving owner. The moment I walkedmin Monty was engaging and extremely helpful. He has extensive product lines and will be opening a new store soon. Dont get cuaght up in these negative reviews. Monty is as sincere as it gets and cares for each and every customer like they were family. Csnt wait to go back!!

Gotta say, I walked in a week ago; looking to get an e-cig, not knowing much about the vaporizers etc. Monte walked me through the process, took the time to explain everything and get me started. ive been back a few times this week to purchase upgrades & flavors. Everytime has been great.
