I took an old desktop from work in for the "Free PC TuneUp" Staples is currently offering. The computer worked fine, but was a little slow and had lots of pop-up windows, etc. The store called me and said the power supply was bad and that it would be $39.99 to fix it. Then another guys called and said it would be $49.99 plus $49.99 labor to "fix" it. Since the computer did still work I declined the service and picked the computer up. I took it back to work, plugged it in, and guess what the computer now will not even turn on. When I called to complain, I got endless stories about how the power supply can just "go" at any time, but that they would be happy to "fix" it for $100. I dont doubt the power supply can break at any time, I just found it rather suspicious that that moment happened to be when my computer was in the store supposedly for a "free tuneup." Either this was a very unlucky situation, or Staples is running a great little scam!

This store needs to get it together. The customer service lacks and very slow response time. I ordered printing the night before and went to pick them up the next evening. They "lost" my request. I had to leave and no longer wanted my "lost" items somewhere in the store. I was told I could not have the managers business card. All complaints had to be made in person. I called anyway. It took 10 minutes for a manger from customer service just to pick up. Then they had to research the issue and offered me free cards after I told them multiple times I had to leave the area and I would not be returning.

Unfriendly staff. I dont get the impression that they care about return business. A previous commenter mentioned tone of voice, agreed. Not a fun experience. Ive been going there 2/3 times a year because its close by. If youre looking for basic Production print work, go to FedEx in KOP. If youre looking for Scotch Tape, envelopes or a bag of rubber bands this place works well enough. Im guessing its no picnic working there either. Just remember, that nasty employee you just ran into was someones baby once. ; )

The worst staples I have ever been in. Dont go to the Gateway Shopping Center Staples located at 145 E Swedesford Road in Wayne PA 19087. I have been there twice and both times the employees are lazy dont want to work its a problem if you ask for help. I will never give them my business again. I will make sure I put this all over the Internet let my friends and family know not to go there anymore.

While I love Staples as a company and shop at their stores often, since moving to the area, every experience at this particular Staples has been awful. Printed orders are often messed up, one of the managers is rather creepy and Ive been given misinformation several times. I now either shop online or drive way out of the way to a different store to avoid dealing with this location.

Brought my resume to print out 2 copies on a Wednesday at 6pm and said it wouldnt be ready until Thursday at 12 pm and on top of that the all self-serve printers were down. Every time Ive gone its been the same awful service.
