This review is based solely on the customer service experience, due to the fact that we were unfortunately unable to get far enough through the process to ordering with Stephanie. I gave the one star review because she was extremely unprofessional in her communications and gave the impression that she did not want to be bothered. We made an attempt to schedule an appointment, but never received a response. A week after our first attempt we wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and contact her again. She advised that she was ill and that is why she didnt respond, which is completely understandable. She then advised that she does not make appointments over the phone and instructed us to use her website, which she also advised was currently down. We checked over the next few days to see if the website was working again and finally were able to make an appointment. She contacted us saying that we werent supposed to be able to schedule an appointment on that day and needed us to reschedule. We explained that would be no problem, but due to my hectic work schedule we need to figure out the next possible day and she just refunded our deposit in the meantime. The main reason for this review is for the next event. When we received out refund of $20 there was an $.88 transaction fee. I am unsure how there can be a transaction fee for her website having technical issues. A loss of $.88 is the absolute least of my worries lol, however it is the response of her saying "Thats the processing fee sorry I cant control it" was not the correct answer. I have attempted 3 times to contact her, during normal business hours, to just give her one last shot making, from what other reviews describe an excellent wedding cake. We all know how stressful and overwhelming it can be to plan for a wedding, this headache is something that nobody wants to deal with. I wish we could have gotten past the confusion of having an appointment scheduled to actually have the opportunity to have one of her wedding cakes.

We met Stephanie at a bridal expo and I had heard good things about her from other vendors we had looked at. I originally wanted to make my own cake but was informed by my whole family that I wouldnt have time (they were right). We only wanted a cake to cut and for us to eat and then we had a dessert table for the rest of the guests. A wedding cake was not my priority. HOWEVER after meeting and talking with Stephanie we decided to have a consultation with her and taste her cake. Her cakes are absolutely delicious. My husband and I were so excited to be able to have something so tasty for ourselves and our wedding party. She talked to us and worked with us, knowing I did not want to serve cake she recommended two tiers of a fake cake and the top tier being real for us to serve to JUST the wedding party. We did that and it was perfect. Our guests saw a beautiful wedding cake, they got the dessert bar. My wedding party raved over the taste. She also gives an anniversary cake with precise directions on how to wrap and freeze it so it will taste JUST as delicious as the day it was made. I would highly recommend her!

Stephanie made the most beautiful cake for our wedding about a month and a half ago. Not only did the cake look absolutely gorgeous and portray everything that we had requested, but it also tasted amazingly delicious! Half of the cake was chocolate chip cake with chocholate chip canoli filling and the other half was chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling, all covered in a white foundant....so yummy! Thank you again to Stephanie and the entire staff at Icing on the Cake for our beautiful cake!!

Cupcakes were delicious. I normally dont enjoy cupcakes as I feel most of the time too much effort is spent on decoration rather than flavor, but these cupcakes were just delicious. Lemon flavored and strawberry filled cupcakes were light and fluffy, with flavor that wasnt overpowered by frosting. I will definitely be back.
