This store is absolutely horrible, worst customer service I have had in a long time. I needed a key made... I would say there were at least 12 employees standing around talking to eachother along the front of the store, and about 5 around the contractor sales desk. I asked one of them to assist me with a key and he stated "I will page someone".... 10 minutes later I was still waiting and none of the 15-20 employees that were walking around cared one bit, not one single "may I help you" NOTHING.... then when I asked another person to page someone she got snippy "well he already paged someone" yeah well its been 15 minutes now and still no key..... so I went to Shearer Locksmith about 1/4 mile away and had the key done in about 2 minute... Sure it is helpful that home depot has a lot of stuff on their shelves, but when you get NO CUSTOMER SERVICE its all pointless. I will NEVER return to this store for ANYTHING, and will likely avoid ALL home depot locations now, simply based on the experience I had at this one

I have had good luck at home depot I guess because they are usually helpful. I actually prefer them to Lowes. We went to Home Depot the other day and Terry helped us in the flooring department. He was really helpful and provided a lot of information and motivation. We are redoing our living room floor. We went back tonight and Ed wasnt sure how to help us but he directed us to another associate and then another customer or contractor ended up helping us too. The only problem I ever have is either finding someone to help or having to wait for someone that is available. You have to realize the best time to go is during the weekdays. Weeknights and weekends the store will be busier and the associates have other things to do. All in all, home depot is still my favorite home improvement store.

I want to thank the Derry street store for their excellent customer service today. I must admit I first went to the Lowes on Union Deposit because it was across the street from an appointment I had today. The customer service at Lowes was so bad I walked out of the store and headed to Derry St. Home Depot. As I left the store I thought I should have just headed to Home Depot instead of trying to save time. When I got to Home Depot I was greeted by friendly staff and was assisted by extremely friendly and helpful employees in several different areas I was shopping in today. Customer service is a huge part of the buying experience and makes all the difference to me in where I shop. Thank you for the 5 star treatment today. Your store and staff are top notch!!! :)

I cant begin to say how much I love this store and their employees, especially Ed, the manager. I recently purchased a Rigid drill set for my husband. The very next day it was stollen out of my car. I did the police report, took my son to school and on my way back home stopped at Home Depot on Derry st to just simply tell them what happened, incase someone tried to return it without a receipt. The lovely manager, Ed, replaced the stollen drill set for me at no cost!! How sweet!! Its so reassuring in a work full of negativity, there still are good people left in the world. We have been loyal Home Depot customers for years and I can say we definitely always will be!

Bought a John Deer tractor at this location. Mower had only 7 hours on it and would not stay started. I called and was told to bring it in and they would swap it out, very long story short after arriving they were unloading and said they would swap it out (for the 2nd time I was told this) for a new one when the manager decided to refuse to swap because it was past 30 days. After 2 hours of trying to remain calm I lost my patience with the very arrogant manager and the woman from corporate that I had on the phone. I caused a bit of a scene but I gess thats what it takes to get what you are promised TWICE! Will NEVER do business here again! Im going to LOWES!!!!

Ill tell you what, Ive been to a lot of Home Depots. I have worked in construction for years now and have been to nearly all the Home Depot stores between York, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia - and this one in Lawton is my favorite. The store seems smaller than the average Home Depot, but they always have what Im looking for. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Ive never had a problem with returns when Ive had to bring them. They also have a clearance end cap on one of the middle isles that always has some awesome stuff super cheap.

I purchased 3 gallons of paint, in a color that I thought I would like. However, it was awful. Terry,in the paint dept , worked changing the tone until I liked the color. I painted the room today and it looks great!! My husband and I have been very pleased with the customer service, in the Derry St store, recently. We have bought things from many different departments, and all the staff have been very helpful!

I bought something on line to be picked up at this store. I didnt get an email but it had been a while since the order, so I tracked the order and found it had been delivered. When I went to pick it up, after about half an hour, they admitted it had been delivered but they couldnt find it. Very disappointing!!

Worst customer service I had ever experienced. Needed help in flooring , waited for help for twenty minutes and not one person came to help after 3 pages over the intercom... Left the store and visited the one in Mechanicsburg, 10 stars to them for their help!

Home Depot has gotten significantly better at helping customers compared to my past experience. For a long time I went to alternative stores due to poor customer care, but thats all changed now. Workers even say, "hello" without pestering. My kind of place.

THE FAT BLACK LADY AT THE RETURN DESK IS RUDE AND TOLD ME THAT THE STUFF I WAS RETURNING IS USED EVEN THOUGH THE ONE PROCESSING THE RETURN DIDNT SAY NOTHING THIS PERSON NEED A TO LEARN HOW TO REPECT PEOPLE AND SHE SHOULD GO LEARN SOME MANNERS
