I ordered a floral cone for my fathers grave on his birthday. When I ordered from the Springfield store, Jackie told me that the spike would be on the back of the cone, I had to take it off, and insert it before putting the cone into the ground. I picked up the flowers and drove immediately to the cemetary. After unpacking the flowers, there was no spike to put the cone into the ground. I called immediately and was told there was no one there who could help me. The gentleman took my name and phone number. My mother went to the florist on Tuesday morning and Jackie said they would make me a new cone for $10. She said no. I called Jackie and was told that she had to talk to the main office. She called me back and said there was nothing they could do but give me a $10 credit. In order to receive satisfaction, I had to bring the flowers back. I was not told that on Saturday when I called from the cemetary. In fact, I was ready to go back to just get the spike but the gentleman who answered the phone said I couldnt do that. They advertise 100% satisfaction guaranteed. What a joke. DON"T USE THIS FLORIST or you will be disappointed. Besides this unfortunate problem, I also have to say that the flowers were mediocre at best, because they looked like funeral flowers, which is what I told Jackie I specifically did not want. I also said I did not want white flowers, and there were white flowers in the arrangement. $25 waste of time and effort to try to do something nice to honor my dad. Thanks, Polites, for nothing!

I have used Polites in the past, but had issues with them delivering on time. I decided to give Polites another try this year ...instead of Proflowers to support local business. What a mistake... my order was supposed to be delivered to my wifes place of work ( I requested no later than 4pm, but its Valentines Day so anytime before 5pm would have been OK) The flowers never arrived. Then when I called customer service, I tried to be understanding and I was told by the woman it would be at my HOUSE by 6:30. The flowers never arrived. I called customer service again and while I was talking with the woman on the phone, I heard the voice of the first woman I spoke with say very rudely "Oh, I cant talk to that kid no more" I am not a kid. In fact, I train people on sales techniques and customer service. Your customer service is PATHETIC! Not once did I receive an apology. I was told it was a busy day and they had a lot of orders. BIG DEAL! that is your job... you are a florist. If you knew how to run a business, you would have your best crew on staff for the biggest flower delivery day of the year What a disaster! Flowers were finally delivered at 9PM to my house.

If there was a 0 star option I would have given that instead of 1 star. When ordering and paying for funeral flowers, I expect them to be delivered for the funeral. Crazy, right??? My flowers never showed up, and after talking to the receptionist at the funeral home, I learned no one from the flower shop had ever tried to deliver the flowers. When I called Polites to see what happened, I was told that the delivery person arrived at 830am and was told the funeral was the day before. I cant say that I believe that for one second, considering that there were several other arrangements that were there for the same service! I cant even begin to explain how frustrated, disappointed, angry, and hurt I am over this. I wanted this family to know that their loved one meant a lot to me and paid for these flowers, and for them to lie to me, take my money, and never get the flowers to that family is completely unacceptable. I will never use or recommend Polites again. If I dont get my refund, Ill be contacting the BBB. Thank youm Polites, for making a hard, sad day even worse. You people are completely useless.

I highly recommend this great florist. I was in the area for a few days with my parents. They celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary but decided against having a party. Both of them love flowers and I wanted to get them something special for that day. A friend of mine recommended Polites Florist. I checked their website and decided on a large arrangement with sunflowers in a glass vase. The next morning I drove by the store. The shop assistant proved to be very knowledgeable and together we altered some details about the arrangement that I knew my parents would like very much. A few days later, the arrangement was delivered on time and my parents were ecstatic about it. Thank you Polites Florist for making a special day even more special.

I was back visiting Philly for a friends graduation from Penn. Last minute, the day of the ceremony, I decided I should probably get flowers but was in a rush. The people I was staying with said they had been to Polites Florist a couple of times in the past and had a good experience. I had a fantastic experience! They were clearly very busy because of other graduation/weddings/etc. but that didnt show in the time they took to immediately (they could tell I was in a rush) help me pick out something really nice, in my price range, and arrange it perfectly. The friendliness and care of a family owned business is hard to beat. Thanks Polites!

They had everything that we needed for our birthday celebration. This is a very busy flower season (proms, graduations, weddings, Mothers Day, etc.), but we felt that our needs were met and exceeded. I wanted to have 36 red rose bouquet with additional side flower set. Polites Florist arranged my flower set, added complimentary white accented pieces and put it into a very grand vase. These flowers already lasted 12 days! I just keep on changing the water and trimming the stems down, I think they may go another 5 or 6 days. I recommended this place to a friend, he is planning to try it as for his anniversary in June.

This is the only place I recommend and order flowers from. In the past 3 years, Ive had 5 occasions where I needed to order flowers and was never disappointed, neither was the receiver. I dont have a review regarding delivery but I will say I live next to OLF Church in Secane and when theres a funeral, you see the Polites van delivering, most of the time before FH gets there which is a good thing. To save money, I usually pick up order and the blonde with glasses that works there is super nice. I only wish they sold helium balloons so that it would be a one-stop shop.

I would recommend this florist to everyone. I sent flowers to my girlfriend for her birthday and she wouldnt stop raving about how pretty the arrangement was. I didnt know much about types of flowers and arrangements but I didnt need to here. The women at the store were very helpful and made a wonderful arrangement based on my girlfriends likes and dislikes. The final result was a beautiful arrangement along with a very modern vase which was a huge plus in my book. I will be sure to use this companys expertise for any flower arrangements that I will need in the future.
