This store is very nice compared to the "average" PLCB Wine & Spirits store. It replaced two other, older smaller state stores on both sides of it, and most in the chain are still like those old ones. But I have one complaint: why did it have to move to this old, run down building? It still looks very uninviting on the outside and could use a repainting. The closed Eckerd (now a Pier 1) further down Baltimore Pike to the west, in the old Genuardis (now GIANT) shopping center would have made a better spot for a new Wine & Spirits. Or the closed Costless/Halloween Adventure/Value Warehouse Furniture store in between Home Depot and Acme in Clifton Heights (now a United Furniture) would have made a better new location as well.

They have a good selection of more interesting items and are willing to check for things. Can be busy up front, people turning in from Baltimore Pike, pros park in the back and use the back door. This is the only FWGS I have ever seen that has a back door. They get a lot of specialty packs around the holidays. If you are just looking for high end wine, go to Media store instead. This store has good wine, but the Media store focuses more on that, and this store has box wine.

This place sucks! It has bad customer service, this one employee who worked there had such a nasty attitude and was acting like a d**k head, he may have been drunk. He seemed very intoxicated, I would advice everyone not to go there because the employees are rude and nasty to customers.

I was there the day before New Years Eve so it was very busy. The staff were still helpful and pleasant especially considering it was 30 minutes before closing. Theyve always been helpful whenever Ive gone there. They moved the lines very quickly so there was no wait.

Plenty of varieties to choose from. I was making jello shots for a party. Conveniently, the flavored vodka pints were on sale. Not very busy during the late morning. Friday nights and holiday shopping gets really busy here.

This is a premium collection location, meaning they carry more brands than the average store. Excellent choice of alcohol, however, a little disturbing that they do not verify you are the legal age of 21 years old
