I absolutely loved this place until yesterday, shopping here i was mortified by the staff (2 managers and a regular employee) I had a friend visiting from out of state so he and i went to get food for him and my husband. We were on line checking out when a dollar section pair of screw drivers wouldnt scan so or cashier asked a man to do a price check. He went to the isle (2 isles away from where he was standing prior) he couldnt find a price for some reason. I said okay its no big deal were just not going to grab them sorry. The man had gone to customer service to if they could find a price. Our cashier yelled over never mind theyre not going too grab them its okay. That should have been the end of it but instead he shouted at my friend and me "oh yea of course youre not gonna take em" my friend and i were shocked and waited for one off the two managers standing there to say something. Neither did. My friend asked if there was an issue and if we should go over there to discuss it. No one answered, instead they all stared at us like they wanted us dead. I was really amazed that even managers thought this was an acceptable way to act. So we load our cart and walk to the car, would you believe this man FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE! He sat in the parking lot arms folded in front of the door smoking a cigarette while children tried walking around him. We packed up our car quickly and he sat there smoking in a door way(disgusting) while we did. My guy friend was annoyed and asked the man to stop staring that it was rude and he smiled so we said wed report him to the owners. Only then did he care and took off toward the entrance of the building on the other side. Ill never shop there again even though i did about 2x a week since its right by my home. I will say the store is nice, a little pricey on some items, but pretty ok selection wise. Wish theyd care more about treatment of customers:/

I have shopped at Riccardos since the 70s.....today was the breaking point for me, 2 customers asked if thier total was with gold card savings. Both were told yes, when my total was given to me I asked if that was with the savings and told yes. I replied funny you never asked for my card. The cashier got smug with me. This makes 7 times that I have not been asked for a gold card....Management has said that it is my own fault for not insisting on it to the cashiers. Apparently customer service, discount cards and care for customer are a joke to the employyes as well as managnebt staff and ownership....Sorry late Mr. Riccardo, you were a great grocer your kids are not.

I shopped everyday for 6 years., spending an average of $25 EVERYDAY. Finally after being ignored by the customer service woman on at least 5 occasions I decided to just to go to Gerritys where the customer service people dont ignore, or are rude to their customers. So, I know it wont bankrupt them, but $25 a day is a nice sum of money in a year. I have reading other reviews and it seems that the woman who works behind the CS desk could use some customer service classes.

Your standard Sure Save supermart, here youll find a good selection of your basic groceries and a little more, like Boarshead meats, with an older layout and feel. Parking is spectacular and wraps around the building. Take of the tiny beer store inside, with direct access from the outside. Theres a very good selection of craft beer and deals on domestic micro brews. No comments on the new sushi section, havent tried it yet.

They accused me of shop lifting and forcefully made me leave my backpack with security while a woman walked by with a purse of the same size. Sexist? I think so.. Months later my car broke down in the parking lot while shopping, after informing the manager the car would be parked there she said i had 24 hours to move it or it would be towed. Is that any way to treat a customer?

Exceptional meat selection and produce, but I wish they had more organic options. Seafood is mostly limited to frozen but occasionally they have some nice fresh selections. I love that they stock some classic or hard to find brands. A great local stop that is perfect for those basic grocery or pantry stocking runs!

Great local stop for quick items when you need them. I love that they carry Boars Head and Cooper Cracked Black Pepper Cheese. They dont have the biggest selection of products, but definitely enough to get your shopping for the week done.

Great bunch of people best cashier to ever work there is hands down Stephanie. Freshest produce in the area. Never had an issue with any of their products. Prices are a bit higher then the big retailers but you can beat hometown quality.

Major improvement over the old Riccardos but could still be much better. Layout feels off and theres come kind of a theme here but I dont know what it is with the chicken coops and such.

Local supermarket. To me it seems a bit smaller than most others. First time for me at this location. It is a SureSave, so if you have a gold card, you can use it here.
