We entered into a contract with Signature Desserts for a two-tier decorated wedding cake, two half sheet cakes, and eight dozen cookies for pick-up one day before our wedding. When we went to pick-up our cake we were handed a very poorly decorated cake. The cake was supposed to have a piped or printed rice paper monogram on the top layer. Instead, it had the letters in crooked, rolled fondant that looked like play dough. The decorator first attempted to fix it with a printed rice paper monogram, which she carelessly cut out and put it on the cake, leaving very visible ragged edges. She next attempted to fix it with a "delicate" border to hide the edges. Instead, she framed the monogram in a crooked, uneven, thick birthday-cake like border. At this point, I was crying and behind schedule driving two hours to my wedding destination to decorate before my rehearsal, so I had no choice but to take the cake as-is and left. In addition, our sheet cakes were scored wrong, which we caught and had to have fixed before we left. We failed to check our cookies, which upon delivery to the reception, realized were not as ordered. We ordered 8 dozen sugar cookies with white icing and pink sprinkles. Instead, we received cookies with pink and white sprinkles, much less fancy/professional looking than ordered. Dissatisfied with my experience, I called the bakery on my drive to the wedding destination seeking to speak with the owner Linda. I was told she was not in yet but would be shortly and would return my call upon arrival. Linda did not call. I had to call her over an hour later, at which time she told me she heard I was unhappy and would not deal with me as an emotional bride now and would work with me after the wedding. To date, we have not resolved the issue, as Signature Desserts only offered a small refund.

Apparently, a 25% tip is expected when purchasing a pie! My boyfriend really likes the coconut cream pie, so I stopped in for the first time to buy him one for his birthday. It was $16 and I handed the lady a twenty. She went to the register and I stood there waiting for my change. She closed the register drawer, started walking toward the back, and said to me, "Are we okay?" Hmmm, I interpreted that as, "Are we okay with you giving me a 25% tip?" I just shrugged and walked out figuring that was my last visit to Signature Desserts. 2 starts because at least the pie was good, but the "service" was really tacky.

We hired them for our wedding. Their cakes are delicious and beautiful, and there were tons of flavors and looks to choose from. The cake was so popular that people were asking for 2nd and 3rd helpings. The staff members were courteous, professional, and prompt. Their cookies are wonderful, too. And the prices are among the cheapest we saw, although Id be willing to pay more for this quality. We will be using them for all of our special occasion bakery needs.

Oh my! This place was delightful. I was hunting for cupcakes for a birthday party (two kids and a new business means no time for baking!) and wanted something special. After spending a frustrating time (Googles map on the phone is about 3 miles off) I finally found this place. The people were very attentive, they gave me free cookies to try, and the cupcakes were wonderful. I will go back any chance I can justify it!

Signature Desserts catered the cheesecakes for our daughters wedding. They were beautifully done, and decidedly delicious. The guests all gave rave reviews. When ordering the cakes, the owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. The cost of the cakes was very reasonable; much less than other bakeries and the Cheesecake Factory. They also delivered them for only a few dollars.

Got a cake for an anniversary and cookies and they looked and tasted fantastic. However, the customer service and attention to detail were what sets this place apart. The owner personally handled my order and worked overtime to meet the deadline, which was last minute. If you value good customer service and like delicious treats, look no further.

Steve the owner seemed very arrogant and unwilling to help the common man. I would not recommend anyone who holds values close to their hearts to patronize this establishment. I am very disappointed in the attitude that I received over a simple request. If this is his "Signature", I am very surprised that this is considered a respectable business.

SD is the best! Their baked goods are not only delicious but their customer service is fantastic! Anytime I go in they are always friendly and accommodating. Their Red Velvet cake is THE BEST! In fact, a few of the very popular restaurants in South Hills use them to provide their restaurants desserts;)

He has a peach sour cream custard pie that is unbelievably delicious. I get it with a little bakers crystal sugar over the top because I like it a little sweeter than the recipe. The baker was very accommodating and pleasant too.

Snow ball Cake! I had a slice at a party last night. Ive vent thinking about how much I enjoyed it all day today. Light, moist, chocolate cake, real whipped cream, and a dusting of coconut on top. Total yum.

The bakery I used closed. Found this place and its even better than the old bakery. The cake we got for my dads birthday was so delicious. And the way they decorated it was perfect. They treat you family.
