Im very disappointed with recent encounters ive had at this location. I tend to prefer to shop locally its conveiniant and supports the local economy. So although prices for similiar products are 20 to 40% lower at places like target, online, or at burlingtons i usually buy my son toys at s.w. Randalls on principle. Not the entire staff, but 1 staff member was very pretentious during one of my recent purchases, also after 5 years of me purchasing magic the gathering cards at this location. sometimes $200 dollars a month depending on the season and other commitments i waited for a week for a certain product to come in went in to buy it and was told there is a limit to how much of that product i can buy, Which i have never encountered at any store ever, the employee at the time was very respectful its just store policy and i understand hes just doing his job. But had i known or been informed this was a policy over the pas t 5 years i had been shopping there without issue I would have just saved money and ordered them online also the staff was well aware after going in every day for a week to see if the product had come in that i intended to buy 1 of each only to be informed later theres a limit to how many one person can buy, which i feel knowing my intentions should have been brought to my attention on one of my previous visits. I Do not feel like my business is appreciated. This experience has been very off-putting. Henceforth i shall not be shopping at S.W. Randalls in squirrel hill and will either order products online or go to target or burlington.

They have a wonderful selection, but a terrible return policy. My daughter received a gift in SW Randall bag that we know exactly the time and date of the purchase and who purchased it. The day after it was purchased we went to exchange it and they would not exchange it. They were very strict that without a gift receipt they wouldnt exchange it. I knew the date and the person purchased it and they still would not exchange it. For a store that price himself on customer service I had a terrible experience there. I would not give them any of my business.

Dark, unfriendly staff, and cluttered this toy store made me eager to leave immediately after entering. There seems to be no order to the chaos of costumes, games, and craft sets. Additionally the staff seemed content standing behind the registers talking amongst themselves rather than assisting any customers. I would encourage shoppers to look elsewhere for their toy needs.

Friendly staff, good variety of gifts for kids from <1yr to ~12. Equally varied prices: snag a whatsit for $3 or a RipStik (or similar) for $70.
