I ordered flowers, balloons, and a stuffed animal for my girlfriends birthday to be delivered to the restaurant (for which we had reservations that evening). The delivery driver called my girlfriend and told her the restaurant that we were going to (which was supposed to be a surprise) and what I got her (which was also supposed to be a surprise). They told her to pretend that the call didnt happen, and did not call me to let me know they screwed up. When I called they played stupid for as long as they could (no integrity) and only after I confronted them did they apologize. I asked for a refund and they simply said all they could offer was an apology. The manager called me back and refunded the delivery charge. Oh wait, no they didnt refund me anything. The charged my card a second time for the lesser amount. I will be calling to get that sorted out on Monday. Thanks for ruining the surprise and my enjoyment of what was supposed to be a special day. Appreciate it!

We were beyond thrilled! My bouquet was gorgeous, and I loved the bridesmaids bouquets too! The delivery of the bridal partys flowers to my home was perfectly on time. At the reception, the centerpieces were even more gorgeous than I envisioned (3 vases with orchids, tulips "floating" in water). I loved the flowers on our cake and the and the floating peonies and floating candles on the escort table...It was just gorgeous...and a nice surprise! Also wanted to thank Laurie for unexpectedly having to come back late that night to pick up the vases without complaint or charging us. Carole and Laurie are awesome, and I so appreciated all the meetings and time they spent with me. Their communication was always great, and I couldnt be happier with how EVERYTHING turned out. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

UNRELIABLE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called Gidas flowers on a Saturday morning to have flowers delivered to Magee Womens Hospital. The flowers were expensive, but looked really nice on their web page. The employee I spoke with assured me they would be delivered by early afternoon. Three Oclock passes by and still the flowers hadnt been delivered. I called and they assured me they were out for delivery. They never did arrive, and they did not return my calls until two days later at which time they said they "werent sure" why their delivery person didnt show. They then asked if I would like to place another order. NO THANKS! AVOID THIS PLACE!

I live in Florida and wanted to send my mom some flowers for her birthday from a local florist in Pittsburgh where she lives. I made the call to Gidas down the street from my moms work and told the florist What Type of arrangement I wanted for my mom. She threw in some amazing ideas and made the arrangement absolutely perfect! I love giving back to local communities and will definitely use them again. My mom was so impressed. She sent me a picture of the flowers, and they surpassed my expectations. The owner even called to make sure everything was perfect with the delivery. Thank you guys! Glad I chose you for my local florist needs!

Gidas did the flowers for both my wedding ceremony and reception, and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Carole was so kind and fun to work with! She was willing to deal with me switching my mind a few times (obviously this was months and months before the wedding so that they had time to order the flowers), and it turned out perfectly. I adore this shop. I come in and make my own bouquets frequently and they always provide me with great tips to make my flowers last longer or ideas on arranging them once I get them home. I sometimes also give them a call and let them know my price point, which colors to include or not include and what time Ill be over to pick it up. I have never once been disappointed by the arrangements, price, selection or customer service.

I called Gidas today from out of town, to see if I could have flowers delivered to my daughter for her Birthday. She is a student at U of Pitt and I wanted a florist who delivers to the campus. I found the website online and found it very useful. The salesperson was enthusiatic, friendly, knowledgeble and very accomodating. Very focused on making the customer happy. The service was top notch!

I had centerpieces done for my wedding here and they were absolutely gorgeous. Better than what I expected. Everyone at my wedding was talking about them, and asked where they came from. This place knows what they are doing. They are very creative and professional. I wouldnt look anywhere else. This is the best flower shop you will find in the Pittsburgh area. It was worth every penny.

This is the closest flower shop to PITT campus. They receive flowers sent from other stores since you cant deliver directly to campus. Christopher is a saint and put in the extra effort to locate my daughter and have her come pick up her bday bouquet dropped off by another vendor. I cant say enough about the service and how they have earned my future business. Thanks Christopher!

It took me a few tries to find a flower shop that I could trust to get flowers for my girlfriend, mother and grandmothers. Once I found Gidas I knew that this was the best shop around Pittsburgh. Anytime I get flowers from them people are more than impressed with them. Great people and great service. Delivery is always on time. Ask for Laurie when you call!!!!

I had a last minute funeral and had called another florist who couldnt accommodate my need, so I called Gidas in Oakland. They were so friendly and accommodating. The Funeral Arrangement was beautiful and full and more than I expected. The cost was less than what we received. I will always call them from now on for all our florist needs. They were awesome

Gidas Flowers were the florist for our September wedding at the Twentieth Century Club and did an absolutely flawless job! Laurie and Carole were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process and were able to replicate exactly what I had pictured in my mind and any pictures I brought in. Gidas is the most dependable flower service in Pittsburgh! I always feel comfortable with the arrangements they put provide. Ive only ever had one issue and it was due to timing; as a result, they refunded all of my money the next day and still delivered the order the following Monday free of charge! Excellent service!
