Hello, My family and I came to eat here, after receiving a wonderful review from a friend. When we arrived, we were rudly greeted from the host, asking us if we had a reservation. We told her we did not have a reservation, but seemed annoyed after we told her we didnt. Eventually we were sat and we looked over the menu. There was no one in the restaurant from 11:30-12:45 (prime time for lunch) which should have been the first clue. Eventually we ordered, but were confused about the lunch options. On the first page, they offer you a "you pick two" option for $11.99, where you can either choose a half a sa which with a side of soup or salad and on the second page, they offered a full sandwich with a soup or salad for $12.99, so a $1.00 difference, which does not make financial sense. My aunt and I split the the sandwhich, but we were continuously asked if we wanted the you pick two option, which would have been almost $7 more! The server was very nice, but the food was overpriced for what we got. My sister got a grilled cheese that was $10.00 for two pieces of bread and cheese, along with a cup of soup that was $7 and Luke warm. I feel that the atmosphere was cold and not welcoming. It is a good idea but was not our style of restaurant.

While the food was good, the rudeness & attitude of the hostess left a sour taste in the mouth of my party. Confusion with a breakfast special resulted in us being charged twice the expected amount for an item. Apparently the item we ordered was out of the time window for the special (we didnt see the fine print). Instead of this being communicated to us, we got a breakfast that was supposed to be the same as the special but was the ATW (entirely different). When the server raised the issue to the hostess, the server was told to cover the error out of her pocket. When I told the hostess that I didnt feel it was right to pass the cost of the error onto the server, I was basically told it was none of my business how they handle this internally, even though I was offering to cover the error out of my pocket because we missed the fine print. Having worked in the service business all my life, this is a very crappy way to treat your staff and your customers.

I have purchased several gift items and food items (to go) at this fine establishment. It is a beautiful store, offering many options for gifts and fine food. The gifts I bought were much appreciated and fit the occasion perfectly. The desserts that I purchased for Valentines Day for myself and my husband were "out of this world" and we both have very discriminating tastes. I have met personally with the owner Ken Milko and found him to be an honest and fair businessman. I also found his staff to be very courteous. If one expects to purchase a quality item or service then they ought to be prepared to pay a fair price. I am looking forward to doing more business with Flowers In the Attic in the near future and to sitting down to a fine meal with friends and family soon. I wholeheartedly recommend doing so to anyone that is looking for a fine dining experience.

The establishment offered groupons that they were clearly not prepared to honor. I purchased the groupon to treat my mom to a tea with her friends, they initially told us in early December that they didnt have any avaialbe reservations on any Saturdays--Once they were finally given a reservation, the weather was inclement and thmy mom was concerned and asked if the weather was bad, could she reschedule. The hostess was rude to my mother and told her that it wasnt possible, then the manager called back to be just as rude if not more. She told my mother that she was not welcome there--my mother is 80 years old and was trying to have a nice afternoon with her friends. Whatever the policies are, there is never a need to be rude and dsrespectful to customers or potential customers just because groupon users are not considered customers --nor are they valued.

We had a Groupon for this visit. The food was good - hence the one star. However the hostess was rude, both on the phone while making the reservation, and when we called to let them know we would be a few minutes late because of construction. You do not get hot tea with your tea - unless you specifically ask for it. The hot tea also is not loose leaf, but in bags - which we knew because we saw it at another table. When we were finished eating, our waitress thanked us and wished us a nice day - and did not return to our table. We started out to our car and the hostess came out and again was very rude, telling us we still needed to pay more. The final straw was the $25 she added on for the four of us.

My daughters and I love to come to Flowers in the Attic for afternoon tea. Our first visit was in 2013 and we enjoyed ourselves so much that it has become a tradition for us whenever I see the Groupon pop up. We live about an hour away and I find the food, atmosphere, and service worth the trip. The staff is wonderfully personable and has always made us feel like we are at home. I recently came in with my youngest daughter and the staff treated her like a big girl, which was not lost on her. Keep up the good work! Hopefully we will see you again soon!

We bought a groupon for them because we like to try new places. When we arrived, we had a rude welcoming. Our server was okay, could have worn a clean shirt though. We ordered and were presented with food that was grossly overcooked. We tried to pay and use our groupon and was told that we could not because of exclusions that were not listed at all when we bought the thing. We just paid and left, havent been back since and dont plan on ever going back. Time and money wasted.

This is by far the best place to have tea. My girlfriends and I have a tea ritual were we try all the tea places in the Pittsburgh vicinity and this place took the cake, literally. Everything was so good that we took some extra cake home with us and what a pleasant surprise, it was to die for. I would recommend this place for anyone. It was a 50 min drive for me, but so worth it Ill do it again in a heartbeat.

Flowers in the Attic is beautiful. The food is delicious, and you get plenty of it. The staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menus. The Gift shop offers a beautiful verity of gifts from candles to flowers, and even mermaids. So if you looking for a nice romantic or friendly place to eat this is the place to be.

Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect for my wedding! I couldnt have asked for a better florist! Even though I was unable to meet with him myself prior to my wedding, Ken was able to meet with my mom and he gave me exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Flowers in the Attic to any bride!

Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Very personal feel with private seating options. Food was incredible- inventive/unique but still comfort-food. Will certainly go back again and again, so many different specials to try! I only wish they served dinner every once in a while!
