Love the atmosphere at Convive. The staff is super friendly. And, for those who have a problem with the prices, consider this. How much do you pay for a bottle or glass of wine? Think about the work that goes in to that. Think of the artistry and craftsmanship of developing excellent wine. Think of all the work it takes to get you that bottle or glass. How much do you pay for that? The same level of artistry and craftsmanship that goes into your most expensive favorite wine...Ryland puts into sourcing and roasting and preparing his coffee for you. And the coffees that Ryland produces are excellent. He produces a specialty product. It isnt the garbage that this country is accustomed to. (i.e. Starbucks, Dunkin, McDonalds, Folgers, or Maxwell House etc...) Its more than just coffee. And, he isnt some big business roaster like Intelligentsia, Verve, or Counter Culture. Those are all very good reputable roasters. But, Convive is right in your backyard. You are supporting a local business and your community when you get coffee from Ryland. In that light, dont you think that the prices Ryland asks are more than acceptable? I know I do. And, I will continue to support Convive as often as possible.

I had my 1st Latte in Seattle while house hunting with my husband, Gary in 1995. We drove back East & could never quite get "that taste" in a Latte. The Love of My Life passed away 11/4/16 & didnt get the opportunity to share with me the fabulous Latte from Convive. It has such a strong espresso flavor and the taste does not change from day to day. I was getting very frustrated with other coffee places serving milky lattes and when you tell them about it, they say Oh, OK. I didnt go back for my free birthday drink because I knew it wouldnt be worth my time. The staff is pleasant to be around. OMG I miss my honey so so much.

One of my good friends Ryland is the owner of Convive and he is truly a coffee connoisseur! Before he even thought about opening his own coffee business Ryland became a master of the science of coffee from something as simple as a pour-over and french press to now roasting his own beans with a commercial coffee roaster! Not only is he a humble man who supports his wife and three kids, but he is an outstanding person of respectable character. I cant say enough about how great his coffee tastes, very smooth and full of flavor, I fully support and love Convive coffee!

I work close by to here and its nice to stop in on my lunch break for an afternoon pick me up. Prices are slightly above average, but quality is always 5/5. Ive been in here twice during the week and had excellent service by both employees I encountered. My cappuccino was delicious both times. Both were also pleasant. Loved the design in the froth as well! Cant wait to bring my boyfriend over the weekend to enjoy a delicious coffee together. Would defiently recommend this small business to anyone!

My husband and 15yo grandson went here on 2/14, Sunday, for the first time. Although they really liked the coffee and my husband liked the decor they felt the staff were rude and unwelcoming. When they asked about the coffee choices the girl helping them gave them little info and seemed bothered by their questions. They felt rushed even though they were the only customer. Im sure the owners would not want this to be a representation of their new business!

I tried Convive for the first time today based on a friends recommendation. He spoke highly of the brew so I bought 4 different varieties to try. As I am based in Florida, I ordered off the website. My officemates and I are working on the Costa Rica brew this morning and it’s very smooth and flavorful. One of my officemates even stated he didn’t need his usual amount of cream and sugar because the coffee itself was so good. Highly recommended!

I was in town for a couple days and I always check out local coffee shops in my search for the perfect cappuccino . I started roasting coffee in 2001 and am a complete snob when it comes to coffee. I had the greatest cappuccino that I have ever had in my life on May 14th, 2016. Whoever the young lady barista was, you are a master at your craft. Equally, the beans were roasted to perfection. Bravo!

I love this shop! The woman who helped me at the register was very caring and took the time to help me pick a good drink choice, since it was my first time there. I had a medium hazelnut latte with a cute heart shape in the foam, and the drink tasted amazing! The cookies are also a must! The atmosphere and theme were cute and relaxed.

The coffee is great! They have a bunch of different roasts, and the baristas are very knowledgeable so they can help you choose one if you dont know which roast you want. They also do regular, pour over, and french press, so there is a big variety of options. And they are very friendly!

Great experience, great atmosphere! Has an out of town vibe right here in Pittsburgh!! Nice courteous staff to educate those looking to gain knowledge on the different selection of coffee they have! I went with a Kenyan coffee had a nice light taste without the bitterness of others!

Very tasty coffee, maybe the best. Was recommended the Kenyan roast and choose the pour over method. Amazing! This will be my new go to for coffee. Need some umbrellas outside. My only recommendation. Also had a very cool looking cold brew apparatus near the pick up area.

I think they have the best coffee in Pittsburgh. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They are always experimenting with different ways to make coffee and different drinks. Today they had their Costa Rica coffee brewed and it is easily my favorite coffee.

From the start .. Convive hit it out of the park. The setting (ambiance) is eclectic & unique. They employ "coffee artists" too !Their drinks look so good almost dont want to drink them. They taste even better than they look, so do get past their beauty!

Unbelievable. Seriously the best coffee Ive had in the North Hills in 7 years. Roasted on site, and the owners are super knowledgeable and welcoming. Stopping in every morning now on the way to work! Ethiopian Limu is to die for!

Nice placed tucked away in a sea of a typical suburban shopping center. Coffee drinks were made wonderfully and the crowd inside was steady. A little sparce as far as seating goes for longer hangouts, otherwise a great place!

Good selection of single origins available in pour over and a knowledgeable staff to educate about flavorings. Pastries available at the counter but the pay-it-forward frames are the stamp in the memory for me.

Awesome cup of coffee! This offers coffee for the true coffee afficianado. Lattes, machiattos, flat-whites, etc all made right with quality roasted coffee. Plus the workers offer a friendly "hipster" vibe.
