Recently, we celebrated my mother-in-laws 90th birthday in Monroeville. We were having a party of about 30 people, coming from all over the country to be with her on her special day. I wanted the party to be perfect...and a big part of any birthday party is the cake. It has to be perfect in every way: it has to look beautiful and it has to be delicious . We live in Ohio, so I was doing all of the party planning on-line and long distance. I learned about Spinolas on-line having read excellent reviews about them and having spoken with them over the phone. They were courteous and very helpful. Their pricing is completely in line with what they provide: high quality, beautiful and delicious baked goods. I ordered two cakes: a carrot cake (my mother-in-laws personal choice) with cream-cheese icing and a marble cake with butter cream icing. The second cake was for a church gathering the next day and it was beautifully decorated with a cross of yellow roses at my wifes request. The cakes were ready on time for the party on Saturday, March the 5th. They were both delicious! Everyone said so. The carrot cake was made with crushed walnuts around the sides. It was exquisite. To accommodate a relative with a gluten allergy, Spinolas made us four gluten-free cupcakes to serve her at the party. They were wonderful as well. I highly recommend this fantastic Bake Shop. They are conveniently located in Murraysville in a small shopping plaza off Old William Penn. They are highly professional and caring people.

Motocross Racer

We ordered a cake for our wedding that was specifically supposed to have strawberries, ect on it. The day of the wedding the cake was delivered with grapes on it..... We never head an explanation of anything from them. We paid over $400 for the cake, sorry but it was not fair. Nothing could be done the day of the wedding a hour before.

They did the cupcakes for my Sons wedding they were wonderful to work with the cupcakes were out of this world they even made me a small gluten free cookie tray for a few guests that werent able to have the cupcakes I recommend them highly so glad my sister saw a segment on the news about Spinolas

The staff is friendly, helpful, and its a pleasure to walk in the door. The food, well lets just say the best chocolate chip cookies Ive ever had, and she makes us a special Peanut butter chocolate cupcake cake for special occasions that is to die for. I give it a thumbs up all the way!!!!

Have enjoyed going here since they opened. My wife loves their Sweet & Salty cupcakes, and the chocolate chip cookies are awesome. For any event in our life that requires delicious sweets, this is our place. It is worth the 1/2 trip!
