Today was the second bad experience Ive had with this place. The customer service is always behind and often clueless. Previously, i was kept waiting while they took care of other customers. We wanted to buy a step 2 mountain climb slide that was on sale. When asked if it was in stock they took 20 minutes to tell me they didnt have it. The guy looking wasnt responding on his walkie talkie. My wif had to go lookup the product number again for the customer service people. We were also told that if we order it to our home there would be free shipping. Begin transaction to find there is a $125 shipping fee for the $120 slide. Meawhile the website says all orders over $19 are free shipping. They cant figure out how to remove the shipping cost. So we set up for in store pickup and all seems well after wasting 20 more minutes. We got home and about an hour later recieve an email that our order cant be processed and had to start over again, ordered it online to a different location. Dont go here just use the internet.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences ever! I was looking for a particular item that my son wanted to complete his look for Halloween. I called this store (an associate Will) after checking the website which indicated it was in stock. I called to make 100% sure it was there before I drove there. They assured me it was there and that they had physically seen it and set it aside. I got there an hour later and the service associate Brian tells me its not. We (my 5 year old and I) waited for over an hour while they tried to sort it out. No one could figure out where the item was or how I could get it. The manager comes over and joins the mix of confusion for just a minute and without apology or assurance, walks off. Finally I left my info and we agreed that they would call me with a result within the next day. That was 2 Sundays ago...good thing I didnt hold my breath. What a waste of time and an unacceptable way to run a business. The experience was so disappointing to both me and my son.

Purchased a toy with cash, went back to exchange it within an hour, and needed to show identification. I dont always carry identification, so they would not do it. Called the manager, still no go. And this was cash, not credit card. So I go and get my ID, then they want my phone number. I dont give my phone number out - Im on the "do not call list" for that reason. They would still not take the return. I had to give them my phone number. Shopping on line is way too easy, doesnt waste gas, and you dont have deal with bad customer service. Unfortunately the employee and manager made a good case for not raising the minimum wage. WILL NEVER SHOP AT TOYS R US AGAIN.

I highly advise everyone to avoid ordering online for in-store pickup. I have tried this a number of times, and it has never been successful. Not once. I had a number of issues about 2 years ago, but decided to give it a try again in hopes that they had fixed any kinks in their system. This time, the order was cancelled and I did not received a cancellation notification of any kind. I had been waiting patiently for a notification of the orders arrival, and when I went to track the order, I was very disappointed to find that the order had been cancelled 5 days prior. Particularly frustrating since time was of the essence. Big time fail.

My daughter received a birthday invitation to stop in from 12:00-2:00pm to meet Geoffrey, receive a balloon, a birthday crown and a Geoffrey stuffed animal. We arrived at 12:15 and 5 other parents were already there with their kids. None of the things on the invitation were there. After 25 min of standing around for the manager to figure out what was going on he found the stuffed animals locked up in the back. Personally, I was very annoyed at the disorganization, we did get the stuffed animal but the experience and excitement of meeting Geoffrey was already ruined.

Sometimes, I like to leave my house and do some brick and mortar shopping to remind myself why I like ordering online so much. Thats what I did on Sunday, as we did some early Christmas shopping and ended up at this ToysRUs. While the staff was nice, I felt like no one really had a grasp on the overall customer experience. It wasnt even busy in the store, yet employees didnt appear to know store processes and I cant imagine what itll be like in there once the holiday season kicks off.

I just spent the last hour deleting my registry with Babies "R" Us because after my mother purchased something for us from another store- they refused to remove it from my registry. I will add that earlier that day she spent over $200 at Babies R Us. Instead- she had to tell me what it was that she bought me (ruining the surprise) so that I could take it off the registry. I have never heard of such a ridiculous policy. Moved my entire registry to Amazon- Babies R Us can suck it.

After going to five stores and almost giving up. I found everything I was looking for @ this location. The staff were extremely helpful and patient. I was treated with respect and was helped throughout my shopping experience. The best part, the store was neat, clean and organized. After selecting my items I was able to purchase my items without having to wait in line. Lets just say this store made my shopping experience easy n stress freem

This is more of a review of the Toys R Us. The manager of this store can be a real jerk (at least I believe he is the manager). If you ask him if they have something in the back he refuses to look for you. His response is always "what we have is out on the shelf if what we have". Thats fine, but Ive asked other employees after he refused to help and theyve been to find what I was looking for in the stock room. The guy is lazy and rude.

Went there for a birthday event for my son and it was suppose to be from 3-4pm and they didnt even have it.. everything was completely disorganized. DO NOT send me an email telling me I can go to my local toys r us for this birthday event and then when I show up ON TIME, they tell me they arent having it. Waited half an hour for you guys to just tell me that the event isnt going to happen.

I have something I purchased online and it doesnt work. I want to drive to the store and see if I can return or exchange it. I called the store but, no one picked up. The website says they are open until 11 pm.. After reading all the bad customer service reviews Im afraid to even try to return it to the store. I have the shipping receipt but, no box. Will let you know how I make out.

Visiting the store is better than calling in to their customer service. I was put on hold for over 6 minutes (which was disappointing) with no response. But when I stopped in to asked about exclusive online deal, she went ahread and honored the promo. My guess is that its better to visit that call?
