To start, my normal seamstress was completely booked, but this salon was recommended for alterations. I got a dress to wear for my brothers wedding and needed it shortened and the neck line raised because Im petite. Word to the wise, as for a price estimate first. I paid $85 which is the most Ive ever spent and almost double what my dress cost....which I didnt ask before about pricing since I figured she would be comparable in prices to my normal alterations lady. I had to return for the first fitting to which she double booked a bride over my 4:00 appointment, she called as I was pulling into the drive to ask me to come back in an hour and a half and didnt give me a choice (my fitting took a total of 10 minutes) and when I arrived back at 5:30 she never once said sorry or thank you for understanding. When I picked up my dress I had no choice to have anything else done since the wedding is in 2 days. When I got home, I realized she didnt back stich any of her stitching, her bobbin tension was off which led to her thread skipping (luckily its the backside of the hem and not the top), the side sweep of the dress puckers out, and she never sewed on the snap she said she would in our agreement. Needless to say, I wont be returning.

My mother and I were recommended Classic Weddings from a friend. We came in without an appointment, and they were very pleasant, and it was our first time looking. We were welcomed in, and encouraged us to look around. -At the same time they had a girl in one of her final fittings. While they tended to her, we got to look around. Ended up trying on dresses for over 3 hours that day, and found the one! As a general reminder to folks looking for a good place for bridal gowns, dont be afraid to communicate and touch base! My order for a bra did not come when it was planned, so I took responsibility to check it came in later. The owner, Elizabeth was more than happy to take care of it. The women who work here are knowledgeable, and not pushing to make a sale for sales sake like Alfred Angelo or Davids Bridal. They Took wonderful care of myself and my mother. I highly recommend coming here.

Brides: STAY AWAY! The owner will use your emotional needs as a bride to add extra charges to your bill and expect you to pay them. I was told "You NEED this dress and WILL pay the extra charges!" I would NEVER recommend this business to any bride unless she wants more stress added to her plate. On top of that, she charges you to hem but doesnt actually hem your dress! Snobby, sneaky, clever owner. Watch out for this one......
