This is going to be lengthy, Ill warn you all now. My wife and I were in this Walmart looking at paint. We found colors we wanted, found the bases we needed, and were ready for it to be mixed. There was not an associate in sight. I walked around the main aisles looking for any associate, finally finding one by the fitting rooms. They said they would page someone for me. Over the next 5 minutes, 2 pages went overhead for help at the paint desk. Another associate, possibly a lot associate walked by and asked if we needed help. We told him what we needed, and he said he would find someone. We heard 2 more pages go overhead for assistance at the paint desk. We waited for a total of 20 minutes before we finally decided to do it ourselves. My wife and I have both worked at home improvement retailers in the past, so we know how to mix paint. We played with their system for a few minutes to figure it out, and then mixed 2 gallons of paint ourselves. While mixing the paint, I even took my time to assist another customer in the aisle, as she couldnt find an associate either. When we went to put the cans in the shaker, 2 off the clock associates came over, one of them yelling at us that we couldnt be behind the paint desk. We told him we had asked and received no assistance, so we would step out from behind the paint desk when someone was there to help us. He again yelled at us to get out from behind the counter, and my wife gave him the same response. He then turned in frustration, mumbled that he didnt want to have to argue about this, then said he would go find someone for us if we stepped out from behind the desk. So, while the silent associate stood there playing on her phone and keeping an eye on us, the associate who had yelled left to find someone. He returned about 5 to 10 minutes later and told us that CM Terry would be over to help us. At this point, I called the store from my phone. A girl answered the phone, I explained that I was in the store at the paint desk, and wanted to speak to the manager on duty. I asked her if she could have the manager meet me at the paint desk, and her response was that an associate was on their way to help us. I told her that I had heard that several times already, and I really wanted to speak with the manager. She then told me she had just heard it go over the radio that terry was coming to help us. At this point, frustration took over, and I yelled that I knew that someone would be coming to help, but I still wanted to speak with the manager. Her response this time, was to hang up the phone. I never got her name, because they dont introduce themselves when they answer the phone. A minute later, 6 associates, who later told us they were on the overnight crew, came over to assist us and learn to mix paint. None of them were named Terry. We told them we already mixed it and we just needed it shaken for us. These 6 associates were all friendly and tried to diffuse the situation more than anyone else. Had it not been for these 6 associates, I would have found a way to rate this store at zero stars. When we were done, I asked the guy who had showed the others what to do, if he could get the manager for me. He called over the radio and asked the manager to meet me at customer service. The manager never came up.

Its walmart in general, they are turning into another kmart. They dont care about the cutomer, their staff or their neighbors. The bottom line is all that matters. The only redeeming quality is a FEW thing are cheaper. You have to look at the label and compare price per unit most of the time you pay more at walmart per unit. Also the return policy is ambiguous at best the big sign says one thing but there is a whole book of exceptions. And if you ask to see the return policy they make you wait for the manager. What happened to employee empowerment? that used to be one of the core beliefs of walmart. And what happened to the walmart cheer? its only on the radio in the store. I havent seen it done at store level in over ten years I have even asked store managers about it , the answer is "we dont do that anymore" how about transparency? No wonder stores are closing almost as fast as kmarts. I only shop at walmart out of necessity not because I enjoy the "culture"

Needed help in HB. No one existed. I went to pharmacy. Nice girl, couldnt help, but told me no employees assigned there, so to get help I had to go to customer service. I waited here for 10 mins while a manager counted out a CS employee, instead of getting the line down. Then nice CS lady asked to help me, shes also nice. Told manager. Got ignored first time. The girl suggested I wait until she sees her call for help, or she will forget to help me. The manager finally called for someone to help, a guy from the carts came over about 15 mins later, from the rear of store so he must of bn doing something else, and finally helped us get down a product marked a good price. Finally got to register, prices were wrong, so had to show the tag, got it for posted price. Literally took 35 mins for this to all play out. Frustrated was an easy go to.

They are not helpful at all. I purchased greeting cards online and had them shipped to this store. Some how they lost my cards and now no one is willing to assist me. Spoke to someone in the morning on the phone who said they were an assist manager and would look for my order, then never heard. Called back later in the day to speak with a manager agian, was placed on hold and then no one would take my call. WARNING, do not work with this Wal-Mart because they do not care about the customers. I just want my greeting cards and I not willing to pay again for them since I paid for the first ones already and never received anything. Wal-Mart might want to look into their management and how they assist or should I say DONT assist their customers.

I do not care for this particular Walmart at all. The staff hardly speaks English, so simple communication is very difficult. While I see this being valuable to the Spanish population, its a hindrance for me. The store itself is not very clean and poorly stocked. It is a small Walmart, but I still expect the departments to be stocked. Various areas, such as the jewelry and toy department, are rarely attended by staff and getting help can take upwards of fifteen minutes. The staff overall is typically in a bad mood or just plain dismissive to customers. I avoid this store unless the traffic is too bad to get to a Target.

I visited this store this evening. The store had 3 cashiers open and very long lines going down the isle. It is 16 days before Christmas and the store was very understaffed. I asked for the manager on duty. I was told that the CSM (Nate) was in the back. The person at the customer service desk called him, but he never came and after 10 minutes I decided to leave the store (purchasing nothing). This store consistently is understaffed, not clean, is messy with merchandise in the wrong place, and it does not have enough inventory on the shelves. It seems that someone from corporate should check on this store.
