I will not return to Sterling Optical. I purchased prescription Costa sunglasses from this store. The lenses are heavily pitted. When I showed the glasses to the store personnel she said "you got salt water on the lenses." She explained the coating was peeling off. She was correct, I did get salt water on the lenses. As advertised, I used them for saltwater sailing. The store would do nothing for me except call Costa who did not do anything for me because they are out of warranty. They are correct that they do not legally have to do anything for me, but the lenses should not deteriorate. If you buy Costa glasses, then you should assume the lenses will not last beyond the short warranty period and if you buy from this store, then you should assume it will not provide a remedy. Meanwhile, my Maui Jim and Revo sunglasses (not purchased from Sterling) of same age and use, are still performing well and look the same as when they were purchased.

I had my glasses for about 13 months when I noticed something on my glasses that wasnt coming off with the cleansing cloth. I took them back to the office and was told it was the glare spray was peeling off. I have worn glasses for 14+ years and had the glare spray on and never ever had an issue. I was told I could get the glare treatment where it is infused but it would cost me 250+ just for the lense. I will never go back there again.

I had shopped for frames at seven stores in three states and countless online retailers before I happened to search for eyeglass shops near my hotel on a weekend away. The salesman kept my husband and me thoroughly entertained while I browsed their stock, and he actually listened very well and responded to my borderline unreasonable requirements in eyewear. Thank you again, Thomas!

I went here 3 years ago. Just for frames and lenses alone it cost me $550. I alao dont have insurance. But still Sears is sooo much cheaper. And the other guy who works in the store hes perverted. He hits on me constantly. But the Dr. Is really, really, nice. I wont go here again though.

I had a pair of no line bifocals made up at Sterling about a year ago. They took my insurance, gave me a great price, and didnt pressure me to get the most expensive thing in the store. My glasses work great, and Ill be going back next year when my insurance kicks back in.

Dr, Kinney is the best,,,he has a very caring manner and takes the time to make you feel comfortable. He has frames that are covered by my insurance, so I do not worry about how expensive the Sterling Optical part of the shop is, as I do not use them..

I got the cutest pair of glasses here! The Doc was super friendly and the girl who helped me pick them up was really helpful. They werent expensive at all, and they take insurance.

Awesome lenses. I had a Versace prescribed pair which is so cool. My friend recommends me to check out the store, I found the price is so reasonable.
