This place was absolutely horrible! Myself and five friends went into this shop to get piercings. A few hours after we left the shop, my one friend was sent to the hospital because she would not stop bleeding from the piercing. Upon arrival to the hospital, it was evident that the earring used for a cartilage piercing was in fact a tongue piercing! Then another one in our group started bleeding uncontrollably at the mall the following day, and we stopped piercing pagoda to see what we could do to help. When they looked at the piercing, they recognized that this shop had 18-GAUGED her cartilage. She was informed to remove the piercing. After a hospital visit and a piercing shop looking at the piercings, another one in the group went to another tattoo shop to have them look at her piercing, a simple second hole. Here she was informed that in fact they also gauged her ear. We are extremely upset with this shop for their service. They completely took advantage of a large group of people and caused serious problems. Now, most of the group had to remove what they were over-charged for in the first place ($40 for a single piercing) and some even have to play more for the hospital visit. I strongly suggest to steer clear of this shop. These people are perfectly fine with doing whatever for the service not what is RIGHT! I find it completely unsettling and inappropriate that the staff took advantage of our ignorance about the subject by knowingly piercing certain parts of our body with completely wrong tools, ultimately resulting major dissatisfaction, hospital visit, and a waste of money. The piercer was inattentive, unenthusiastic, and unwilling to provide much information about the process by simply choosing the earrings for us without any consideration with the customer.

sometimes the reviews are from workers or family because I wouldnt recommend this place. I came in and they told me to come back at a certain time. I came back and finally after a HALF HOUR WAIT she showed and I got a piercing done. about a day later I noticed the girl gave me the wrong size ring because it kept coming out. needless to say I had to come back to get another piercing. oh AND this time I had to wait on a DIFFERENT person to show up , after having to come back she had a ring in a envelope and said you have to jam it through yourself. i pleaded with her and she finally agreed to redo the piercing...in which she RE-TORE through the SAME scared tissue. be warned!

I lived in delco my whole life and this is the only tattoo salon i would highly recommend, i took my 16 year old son the a little while ago and the owner Nick is one of the nicest people you can meet, Paulann did my sons tattoo, it was his first and he was very nervous but she kept stopping to check if he was ok and was amazing, shes so professional and her work is breathe taken, my sons so happy and so am i, i cant wait to go back to get more, thanks so much Nick, paulann and upper darby ink well Craig B.

Was skeptical about going here because of the reviews boy was I glad I didnt listen to them. Went there today and got a cover up over a burn on my arm and Dave did a fantastic job. Any time I want a tattoo Im coming back to Upper Darby Inkwell and Dave will be my tattoo artist from now on.

I went in to get piercings, after 20 minutes they realized they didnt have the jewelry and they would order it. After a month they never ordered the jewelry which is standard in any other local tattoo/piercing shop. Id be wary of any tattoo shop that sells coupons on living social.

Overpriced and racist. I came to the store to get my nose pierced and all the employees are outside smoking cigarets. While Im trying to tell her what I want. Shes blowing smoke in my face. Like really. You need more customer service here.

My friend wanted shark bites and apparently they dont do them here? Nor do they do double nose piercings, after reading the other comments Im glad we thought better of venturing here for anything!
