I went into this shop having high hopes, they had a friendly staff and were from my home state of Florida. I went in on a whim and should have known better, but I was anxious and excited. Vanessa drew out a lovely design on paper. While tattooing on my wrist I started noticing the shading wasnt looking good and asked her about it. Long story short. I have a lop sided heart with pointed edges and random "highlights" everywhere. Aside from this tattoo coming out horrendously bad looking was the infection I got. This is not my first tattoo, I have 3 large pieces on my body and have never had a problem with them. Shortly after arriving home I started to notice my skin swell and turn bright red, I then found she had ignored my repeated mentioning, even at the point of her putting gloves on of my latex allergy. After going to the shop when my tattoo was inflamed and very infected she told me to just stop putting stuff on it and let it "dry out" but that it was fine. The doctors said otherwise when I had to be put on penicillin because the infection was so bad from her getting latex in an open wound.
