My 16 year old son wanted a memorial tattoo of his aunt. This would be his first tattoo. We checked out 5 tattoo places and then Johnny from Revelation Studios was recommended. We drove about 45 minutes to check them out. Felt very at home when we walked in, the studio was clean and the staff very friendly. After meeting the staff and talking with Johnny, we made our sons first appt. Not only did our son want his first tattoo but he wanted it on his side and it was his whole side and in color. Well it took us 5 trips until his tattoo was completed because he had a hard time sitting as you can imagine. Johnny was very patient and understanding. The 45 minute 5 trips were well worth it. The tattoo is awesome and our son is always getting compliments on it and everybody always asks where did he get it done. I was leary in letting my son get a tattoo at 16 but Revelation Studios put my mind at ease and he walked away with a beautiful memorial piece in memory of his aunt that he is very proud of. I wish I knew about Revelation Studios when I got my tattoos but I plan on getting my next tattoo done at Revelation Studios and would highly recommend you check them out. I had the best experience hear. I got a double helix piercing and James did my piercing. Upon arrival the two employees/guys were there were very friendly and helpful. I got all the paper work done and I was in the back within 10-15 minutes, I was a walk in. Everything was very clean and sterile, gloves were used and everything was individually packaged. James worked with me to choose the proper piercing placement and help me decide between two options. In the end I went with what he recommended, his expertise was great. I love how my piercings turned out and feel I was advised properly :). James walked me through everything he was doing and answered my questions thoroughly. I felt very informed and confident and wasnt nervous about my piercing at all. Overall: Great environment, very friendly, very professional, very clean, and very affordable, my double helix piercing came out to $60. I am very happy with my experience here and will be definitely be coming back to this studio to finish the rest of my piercings. Thank you James and Revelation Studios!

I got my first tattoo at Revelation Studios by Dan and I couldnt be any happier with it. Hes creative, personable, and overall a talented artist. I love how he was as excited for the piece as I was, and he asked me questions about it to really understand what he was working on. I let him have rule over the colors, and he couldnt have been more on point with what would really make the piece stand out against my skin. He even stayed a half hour later than usual to finish the piece, and covered in full the healing process since it was my first tattoo. During the weeks after, he kept up with how it was healing and answered every question I had in detail. As for the studio, the place is the cleanest tattoo shop Ive ever checked out. Everyone working there is friendly and involved with all the work done by both themselves and others; many of the other artists were just as interested in my piece as Dan and me! I definitely recommend Revelation Studios to anyone looking for a new place to get ink done.

Had a fantastic experience over this holiday weekend at Revelation Studios with Will! Found them on the internet, and Wills work really appealed to me. Met with him two weeks ago to go over my idea for my first tattoo that I wanted on my right forearm. He was professional and engaging right from our first meeting. Came in this past Saturday, and he reviewed my design with me, and took his time to ensure I was happy with what he was planning. All told the experience lasted a little over 3 hours, and my tattoo looks amazing! Within minutes of leaving the studio, I was getting complements from my friends and family:) As a healthcare worker, I wholeheartedly recommend both Will and this studio as its very clear to me that the owner, Chris, and Will have very high standards for the operation of this studio. They are dedicated to a professional, clean, and contagiously fun experience that Im sure will get you going back for more! Im already thinking about what I can have Will do next...

This shop is great I highly recommend it. Very professional, friendly, and the artists do great work. I just finished up getting my first tattoo done and the process went very smoothly. I did a multi session piece with Will and Im very happy with how it turned out. I had a vision for what I had wanted my first piece to be and Will worked with me to turn my vision into a reality. I would watch him set up his work station every time before starting and he is always careful to make sure he is tattooing with sterile tools in a clean space. Will and Chris have created a very clean and comfortable environment. Its nice not having any worries about cleanliness going through your head while sitting through the pain of a long rib tattoo. If youre in the area and looking for professional quality work check this place out.

I had a great experience getting my nose pierced there. I had a situation where we were piercing right next to where someone else at a different place had already given me a bad piercing. I was in quite a bit of pain and Im pretty sure I was being a big crybaby. The piercer, James, was super patient and really nice. I could tell that he has a lot of experience just from the way he was talking me through it and keeping me calm through the pain. The whole shop was really clean. Every employee that I came in contact with seemed to be really professional and friendly. They are also WAY more resonably priced than some of the other piercing places close by. I would recommend a piercing from James especially if youre nervous or its your first one.

Went to Revelation Studio and as you enter you notice a clean and well organized place, also independent cubicles for private, nice touch!!! My tattoo artist was Will, I asked him to make a unique tattoo that was for my grandmother and grandfather as a memorial. I gave him my idea and told him to run with it. When it was time for the great reveal I was blown away, so much so I was moved to tears!! I never mentioned my grandmother liked flowers and there they were!!! He gave me my vision and so much more and the black and gray was such a great choice, so much so I doubt I will go back to color!!! Will you are amazing and I cant wait until our next creation!!! Great group of guys at this place and super comfortable environment!!!!

Revelation studios in Montgomeryville is the BEST tattoo shop around!The shop itself is extremely clean & The entire crew at this shop are all professional and gives a warm welcoming. They are all extremely talented, anytime i get work done there, my coworkers/friends/random people on the street compliment all the work they have done and that alone makes me feel great! I NEVER have been dissatisfied with any of their work & i have had a couple tatts from my teen years i regretted bc the end result wasnt top notch and i brought it into Revelation and walked out amazed on how they turned it around and now im not ashamed to show those tatts off!!
