Terrible customer service! On a bogo 50% off deal, I paid approximately $100 (full price for the $100 shoe) + $30 (half of a $60 shoe) ≃ $130. I came to return the $100 shoe (completely unused and its original packaging) and wanted to get a $70 shoe in exchange. So according to their bogo 50% off deal the total should be $70 (full price for the exchanged shoe), + $30 (half of the other $60 shoe I already bought) ≃ $100. I should be getting a $30 refund on the exchange but the store clerk was telling me the they owed me nothing and that my balance was $0. I was very courteous, smiled all the time and politely told him that it was a mistake and tried to explain to him I should be getting $30 refund but he told me "Sir, if you want to exchange the shoe tonight you need to keep quiet and let me do my job". I asked why he was being so rude. He replied "I am not going to help you until you keep quiet and walked away from the cash counter". I stood there dumbfounded and questioning myself, like what did I do to offend him. I was only trying to explain to him politely that I should be getting a refund (I have a PhD in computer engineering, I know my basic math). Afterwards, while he was walking away, I asked" Are you being serious right now? Why are you being so rude?". He kept saying you need to keep quiet if you want me to come back. Basically he was telling me to "STFU and let me do my job". I felt severely disrespected and got mad. I shoved my shoe boxes off the counter and left saying "I dont want your shoes or your money!" Look, I am not one of those difficult customers. I have friends who have worked in stores and diners. I have heard horror stories of what kind of customers they have dealt with, but I assure you I am not one of those people. I was very amicable the entire time I was in the store except when I stormed out. This is my first time ever writing a bad review for a store because honestly I felt extremely disrespected.
