I like this place, it pays the best for good money cards...the reason for a 3 star rating is because I bought a pack at a game store on Lancaster and pulled a good money card ($150 land card) I go back in and buy sleeves for it...I then head to wildthings and want to get cash for this sweet card (and others) the employee who helped me took it out of the sleeve to check it (which is fine) he turned to another employee I dont know if he said something my girl was distracting me with something dr.who after it was all said and done he said he could give me like 80 bucks!! I was like whoa how much is that one worth? He said this one has a smudge on it and fliped it over and sure enough there was a greese spot on it...I think that greesy nerd touched his forehead and touched my card to get it for a better deal....that rubbed me the wrong way and Ill never forget that...but still a great place,just had to get that off my chest.

Worst Customer Service EVER experienced. Pre-Paid for items that were slated to come in within a few days, at about $15 each. First time we called, we were told the items were in, but were all sold (to us), but they couldnt be located - was told we would get a call back before close. Then never called. Next time we called, was told they were there but still could not be located. Third call gets us to the owner - who took our original payment for these items - and he tells us they arent in and they wont be getting any..oh and now they are over $100 EACH! SCAM Do NOT trust these guys! I will share this with every gamer I know, but rest assured, Karma will get them in the end

Intentional, unethical, business practices that adversely effect their customer base. Like many stores this location allows preorders of popular individual cards for many trading card games. However they have begun a practice of canceling preorders if the cards preorder value exceeds the pre sale price, and then they offer their customers to take a refund or purchase the preordered item at the new, and significantly higher, msrp. Keep in mind the store does not pay this price for the individual cards, and they are simply using this as a means of gaining significantly higher profit at the customers added expense.

I usually try to avoid wildthings, but I went into the store today to buy some pokemon boosters and card sleeves. From the moment I got there, I was ignored by the only associate that I could see on duty. The manager even left the store to play pokemon go when there were customers waiting! When I tried to ask about the pokemon cards and the card sleeves, the way that the associate treated me felt like I was an inconvenience to him. I wont be shopping there anymore, since every time Ive gone there Ive gotten a similar response.

Recently moved into a much larger location near the center of downtown on Commercial st. Lots more room to grow and better space for the gaming community. Wild Things Games employs excellent staff who are always very helpful and sincere. On many occasions, Ive seen customers come in with little to no knowledge of the products and time after time their employees go out of their way to explain things to them. This is just an honest to good business, you should give them a chance if youre ever in the area.

As a woman, it is a rare experience when I can walk into a comic book/gaming shop and not be treated like an idiot, this establishment managed it. The guy behind the counter was friendly and talked to me like I actually knew why I was in there and what I was doing. I bought two sets of dice and a book I could have gotten cheaper online simply because he treated me like a person. Thank you, Wild Things Games, you have just earned a repeat business nerd girl. I dont know what happened but customer service was very poor lately, employees were kinda rude towards me when I went a few days ago and I had to literally wait 30 minutes for service and they literally helped somebody else instead of me when I was in front of the line, I almost left and was completely unsatisfied. Probably wont come back much anymore, which is a shame because this was my favorite LGS in the area. not anymore.

The Stuff that work there are very rude, and seem to give any people who are Latin a Racist faces I really did not like any of the worker there beside one Hispanic male who was very nice, and made me feel like welcome to the store. Overall They need to hire better people who actually love the job, and not give you faces or make you feel like your some criminal just cause the color of your skin.

I was looking for an expansion for a game that I really enjoy. This expansion had recently become a hot item that was running for triple the price from some online vendors. Even though they found out how valuable this expansion was through me inquiring about it, they sold me one at the original asking price. I didnt know that retailers could be that cool.

Really great card and other hobbies store. They have pretty much anything you can think of. The staff is really nice and knowledgeable and the setup is perfect for games. They run a lot of different events for all kinds of games. They are the best hobby/cards store I have been to in the Salem area.

Talk about a nerdgasm, this place is Great! Good selection and plenty of tables to play! Staff was mindblowingly awesome, friendly, chipper and eager to help me. Got everything I needed and even got a discount for buying a brick of figures! Best game store in town hands down!

This place is great. They have hundreds of board games, role playing figures and collectible card games. They have card game tournaments. The staff is really nice and knows a lot about there products. Def get in there just to look around.

They run internet sales of collectible cards. An order was made of a few cards and when the cards increased in value before they shipped the order, they canceled the order to make a few bucks. Do not patronize this establishment.

Best card selection in town and a great atmosphere for gaming competition (weekly magic the gathering tournaments and special events often). Additionally their retail markup isnt far from major chain stores so support local!

Great, friendly staff. Has huge selection of singles from multiple games. Has comics as well. Holds many, many weekly tournaments; so its easy to find a format you like at a time you like.
