My fiance and I have been shopping here for over a year, ever since we moved to the area. We love having quality meat and a great price just a few blocks away. Today, however, I had a VERY upsetting experience. As I entered the store a woman, who had chain piercing from ears to her nose with Buddhist symbols adorning her piercings, was leaving. As I shopped the two gentlemen working made incredibly rude and degrading comments, the worst of which included "somebody needs to grab her by the chains and guide her to a stall." This absolutely disgusting regard toward other humans, and the horrible way he spoke about the customers that his business thrives on, is enough to make me question whether I will ever shop here again.

Friendly, fast, great prices and options! My only complaint is that I spent $140 there and I wish I could have gotten an itemized list of prices, but I understand buying a bulk mix package doesnt always mean getting one. Also, all 5 of my 1 pound bacon said use or freeze by June 4tg but today is the 8th. All my meat and fish (which was a separate purchase from the box) was frozen, but the bacon was not.. yet it should have been! Ill let bacon I buy go a few days past if it has been frozen at one time but I have no idea what theyve done- I might go back to return the bacon. 5 pounds (5 individual packs) is a lot if its no good.

I have been sold bad meat 3 times in the last 3 years. The last time was a few weeks ago when a rancid, grey bone-in chicken breast was put in a bag and sold to me. Previously it was bad pork chops and prepackaged pepperoni. There is no way of knowing what I am being charged for most of the products. Itemized receipts are not offered and weights of chicken products are unknown. They ring up everything out of the customers sight and will only offer a total cost. These guys dont seem to mind selling rotten meat to the public and charging whatever they please. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere for your health and wallet.

These guys are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable! Sadly we moved out of the Northeast area down to outer Woodstock so we have to travel across town to get there, so we go once every week or two and stock up. Definitely worth the trip. Pugslys either a competitor or out of his mind. I guarantee if there was a problem and he told these guys they would do everything to make it right. If youre going to get on Google and write a bad review without even trying to work it out with the vendor, then you get what you deserve. Keep on burnin them bridges, knucklehead! At least we wont see him in there. ~_^

Hated it! Went in 4 days ago for a 25lb box of meat... Thought it would be great seeing as how there was a huge line but boy were we surprised! The Ribeye you couldnt even eat because of the large quantity of grissle (fat). 2 other steaks were rotten from the defrost in the fridge... Im now trying to defrost a pound of ground beef that Im not even sure is good because its brown, like rotten brown. Also the pre-packaged bacon is a load of crap too! Next time I want meat, Im going to Grocery Outlet as I get better quality than this!!!!

These guys have been here since 81 or so and i can remember them being there when i was growing up in 90s. i stop by and pick steaks, sausage and ground beef. Really good quality. Fresh. And at a damn great price. WAAAYYYY CHEAPER THAN GARTNERS, and with out all the parking madness and long lines like Gartners. The guys the work there are super friendly and take the time to get to know their customer like an old barber shop thats the kind of service America is all about. Check this place out its on Lombard just west of Columbia Park.

I like this place. The people running the show are friendly and know their meats. The steaks I buy here are very good quality and locally grown. I especially like that it is in the hood. I will not buy meat from any of the local grocery stores and often buy organic from New Seasons. I am very comfortable with this alternative to organic. To be honest I have not tried their ground meat as I only buy organic but I have bought their chicken, which is also good.

We have been going to this market for a year. The meat is all local, sustainably raised, and grass fed. The people who work there are so wonderful that I want to go back just to spend time with them. Also, when our Thanksgiving plans fell through this year and we needed a entree at 4:00pm the night before, they not only helped us put together a menu to die for, but also invited us to dine with them. LOVE THIS PLACE.

These folks are wonderful and always make me laugh out loud! they are more than happy to cut a piece of meat if i do not see what it is I am looking for., all ya have to do is ask. They also have a variety of dog bones.I havent had any unpleasant buying experiences and never poor quality meats. I love their teriyaki chicken. Have them put some extra sauce in the bag for ya. LOVE these guys!

This shop is great, I picked up a couple of steaks today for about 1/3 the price I would pay New Seasons or Fred Meyer. They were as good or better quality than both of those places. The guys are super friendly also, and they have a really nice selection of spices and seasoned salts in front of the store. Im not going to pay 3 times more for meat anymore, Im going to this shop.

Great meats, great prices, custom orders, and package deals for singles also. Great customer service. Meat is delivered fresh daily from Carlton Farms(I went in daily for a while to double check) and its delivered fresh- not frozen to thaw in the meat case like most places. Love it here, make the 15mile drive each week to purchase for my family :^)

Friendly neighborhood Butcher. Ive been coming in for years without incident. Prices are incredible, cuts are great, and the shop sausage, jerky and pepperoni are all top notch. If you are buying your meat from Fred Meyer, New Season or other chain you are missing out. Go in and give it a try.

Location is great being a few blocks away, but quality of meat in the economy pack I got was lacking. The plastic bag the chicken was in was torn and the meat freezer burned. I would have rather picked out each cut myself. Otherwise their selection is pretty good.

I do not like the fact that they never wear gloves when youre getting your meat I do not see that much handwashing going on. I just came in and got some steaks the guy rubs his face and continues packaging my meat no thank you that is disgusting.

Weve been getting our meat from Ron, Kelly, & Billy for years now. They are top notch for customer service and quality local meats. Try the housemade jalapeño-pineapple sausages. Theyre a family favorite and everyone we know raves over them.

This place is about 5 minutes away from my house but it has taken me years to actually go in, but Im glad I did! The meat is wonderful, fresh and local. The staff is amazing and put up with my odd packaging requests. :-)
