Came here on a Monday night to catch up with a few girlfriends. We shared a bunch of food and memories and had a very enjoyable experience. We had a 7:00 reservation and we were seated immediately when we arrived early at 6:45. The place was small and we had no trouble keeping up conversation without shouting or straining in any way. We ordered a bunch of plates to share - the lil bloodies, charcuterie plate, and chicken and lamb entrees. The food came VERY slowly, in particular, we were shocked at how long it took to receive the charcuterie plate. That said, all the food was worth the wait. Lil bloodies - delicious blood sausage wrapped in even more delicious bacon. I mean really, can you go wrong here? Charcuterie - great variety and a TON of meat. Salami, chicken liver mousse, mortadella, and a couple of other things I cant remember now. Served with pickled onions, dijon mustard, and cornichon. The chicken liver mousse was super rich, and just a tiny portion was plenty for four of us. The others were delicious as well. Chicken - served with corn and cauliflower. Really perfectly cooked with super crispy skin and a sprinkling of salt on top. The corn was still fresh and not overcooked, and the cauliflower, which isnt my favorite, was good as well. The anise/fennel sprigs on top added a nice sharpness without being overwhelming. Lamb - fall off the bone tender. Served with broccolini and polenta. Im not the worlds biggest polenta fan but I thought this was good… the texture was initially nice, though it got gloppy after sitting in the lamb juices for awhile. The broccolini was crunchy and bitter to balance out the creaminess of the polenta and the richness of the lamb. For those dishes, with tax and tip, we each paid about $25. Really solidly priced for plenty of food, good service, and great ambience. Im looking forward to another visit!

Went for their amazing cheeseburger and to check out their gorgeous new, sun soaked space on Polk. This is a slightly more dressed up, urban version of their Larkspur location. I liked the meat counter in front with the small, casual bistro setting in the back. They were still waiting for the wine and beer license so I went with the gratis sparkling water. The bread was also served with rosemary lardo--incredible. Great small touches. The confit beef navel was fantastic--thin meaty slices with crispy edges on top of lightly pickled vegetables to cut the richness. The fried chicken was great with a thick well-seasoned crust--but a bit small, just a drumstick and a thigh, and the slaw was much too sour for me. The burger was as hyped--fabulous, loosely packed meat with cheddar and sauteed onions atop a pillowy brioche sesame bun. Best burger my dining companion and I have had in a while. The fries were average, crispy but I wasnt sure if they were the same as their tallow fries Ive had in the past. Hoping they improve a bit over time. The prices veered slightly steep, but its San Francisco so what do you expect? Great, attentive service rounded out the experience.

Anyway, beautiful place! I had the lamb burger -- chili-garlic aoili, Kalamata olives, feta, cilantro arugula. These ingredients together made it the best lamb burger Ive ever had. Not that Ive had so many a lamb burger in my life, but my god. It was just awesome. One of those dishes that you didnt want to end. Every bite was sad because the burger was a bite closer to being done.

Weve had brunch here on a few occasions. Their sausage and bacon quality are superb (as expected of a meat shop). We also adored their ricotta pancakes. Very reasonable prices and no wait at all. Why bother with Mymys when you have Belcampo :) also love that it is spacious and I dont have to sit 2 feet away from the next table like most sf brunch places.

Definitely overrated. Burger was just ok, I was charged for (bad) fries I didnt even order. Too expensive, and quality has nothing to envy to a lot of burger places around town. Service was poor. I would want to try their meats (that looked delicious at first) after this bad experience, too bad cause they may be a good butchers shop.

a butcher shop that is a restaurant come here for happy hour a burger, fries and a beer for $15 pretty good deal for SF. I like the place but the vibe feels off trying to be a fancy steak place but when you enter you come through the butcher shop the quality is the meat is fantastic

Fabulous fare and welcoming service. Moderate prices and generous portions -- an excellent value becomes a bargain during "Happy Hour". A small eatery with a laid back, quiet vibe. Not pretentious, just Farm to Table done really well, a neighborhood gem!

Considering I walk by Belcampo at least twice every workday, its a little embarrassing that it was my first time visiting today. My coworker and I decided to stop in and grab some lunch, I went with the cheeseburger and he got the lamb option.
