I was surprised to see the rudeness reviews here. I actually am wondering whether some of these reviews were planted by competitors, since their reviews dont bear any connection to my experience at Rodda. I havent had that experience at all at Rodda and have used this store frequently for paint for our house. In fact, theyve gone quite a bit out of their way a couple of times for me. Ive used the Miller store quite a bit too and they were good as well. The Miller store seems to be a higher volume store and it has a busier vibe...a pretty busy place but then again they have more staff than Roddas. I generally use one over the other because of a particular paint color Im looking for, although they can usually match each others brand colors. The only advantage I can see to the Miller store is if youre looking for curtains, wall paper, etc, since the MIller store has a home decor section.

I use to love this place because of the paint quality and use to send people here but the service has become irrationally and comically bad, they will ignore you and make you chase them even when you are the only person in the store, and then still ignore you. I brought a business associate here with me a few days ago and we both left with the same thought, will not be back.

Strikes me as a place where if they dont know you, they dont want to meet you. Several employees walking around, only a couple customers and none of them getting any help. I assume people who walk in are not considered worthwhile customers. The one employee I managed to hunt down had an attitude about being asked questions. So I left and went to Miller .

Its true . they have good products but I have gone in, stood at the counter and waited while several employees mill around. They need to dedicate some cashiers. Service at the Miller just up the street on MLK is much better.

Just because I am not a pro does that mean the staff should be condescending? This place used to be much better, now there is no reason to go there.

Good selection of products and paint. Ive had no problems with the help from the employees...Theyve always been helpful and polite.

Their paint paint is more expensive than gold.youd have to be sniffing paint to possibly want to spend at their prices.

Nasty service, rude clerks. Just go to Miller, the paint is at least as good and youll be treated like a human being.
