Definitely a nice layout, so you do not feel overwhelmed when you walk in the store. I did like that. However, I stood there for awhile by the shoe department needing help, and absolutely nobody acknowledged me. When I say that, I mean they didnt even look at me. Im only 51", so maybe I am too small! They were somewhat busy, so I understand to some extent, but nobody even said they could help in a minute. And I was wearing Nike shoes and Nike running capris... . neither of which was cheap. Obviously I was in there to buy something, not just browse. As a matter of fact, all I needed was someone to grab me the exact shoes I was wearing. It could have even happened when they went on the back to help someone else. But- nobody asked. And.... the selection of womens clothing was pretty bad. A couple types of capris, a couple of types of shorts, and some running shirts, which were okay. I know I sound like a whiner, but I do expect better customer service if I am planning on walking in and spending 200 dollars for just two items. I just walked out after about ten minutes, came home, and wrote this review.

Paid $12 for a "full day" pass, which turns out really means about an hour and a half of riding time, then you get charged more. My husband and I went out around Portland and were excited about an environmentally friendly way to travel that was cost effective...not. Instead I was charged a total of 22.50 for 4 and a half hours of using the bike, even though I wasnt on it the entire time. When we called customer service they said the "day pass" charge of $12 only covers 100 minutes...not really a "DAY pass" then, is it? And the bike was very heavy and not comfortable, also loud. Its too bad, because an Uber or Lyft to the same area we went was $6.30, so this system really is flawed in providing a cheap, environmentally friendly way of travel. I would save your money and avoid BIKETOWN.

This store is really something to see in the downtown Portland area. It had the newest nike gear and gear. All the prices were retail but thats normal for anything Nike or Jordan brand these days. The layout was great and had the Jordan 1-23 display which was great. They had running on there main floor, and Nike ID station and some displays of some ID product and the third floor is the basketball sneaker/elite socks/ casual floor. The third floor is great because they have a ton of basketball shoes. This nike store is great. Definitely recommend to look at even if your not planning to buy something. The staff is friendly but in was a bit downed when the elevator was broken so I had to use the stairs. No huge dings though.

We come here pretty much every time we visit Portland. I dont shop for clothing at this store, pretty much just for shoes, but my husband always finds something besides shoes he likes. We find the prices to be pretty average for Nike. The salespeople here are very helpful - they were helpful with measuring my sons feet, and brought out several different styles of shoes in different sizes for him to try on. The salesman encouraged us to try a lot of different shoes and was able to tell us which shoes would wear better. Delaney in the womens department was the same- very helpful and was able to tell me which shoes would be best for what I was needing.

I was so disappointed I went to this store ready to spend some money I had 500 cash on my pocket just for this and I walk in and the store is fully stocked but 98% percent was either wind breakers and jogging pants and all the shoes were the lowest ugliest shoes and priced At least 30-40 dollars then any other other store that carried them when I asked the manager if he had any hoddies or socks in the back and he says no one has time to look so what you see is what you get and the worst is they had four people working and me and two other peoole were their very bad experience very let down I really dont thino Ill go back ever again

This three-year old store in the heart of downtown Portland showcases some of the best of what Nike has to offer. Due to its proximity to the Nike WHQ in nearby Beaverton, they are able to allocate and showcase top tier product that you might not even find in more populated Nike city stores like Seattle and Santa Monica. The layout is bright and open, the displays are colorful and inviting, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I try to stay up-to-date on Nike product and am often surprised at the level of know-how that the employees, or "Athletes", have at this store.

Came to Nikes flagship store in its hometown looking for soccer shoes. Polite and sympathetic manager advised that they had no adult soccer shoes and only low level kids soccer shoes, and that this has been the case for years despite pleas from the public. Very disappointed. I was also advised that only Nike store with soccer shoes in the entire Portland area is the company store that regular LOYAL customers are not allowed into. What an incredibly stupid business decision for Nike. Apparently Nike wants me to buy Addidas.

Nike Portland near Pioneer Place is one of the best spots in town to shop for your Nikes, and thats a high compliment here in Niketown, USA. The place is huge and has unique display pieces you cant find anywhere else. Everyone who works here is nice and knowledgeable. In particular, ask for Noah if hes working since hes the man. Upstairs is a Jordan display showing Jordans 1-13 in all white and they look amazing. Definitely stop by here

The layout of this stores clothing is so thin on actual product that I find it an infuriating place to shop. If they actually have what I want in stock, they dont have my size (I am a size 8, so no excuse). I have had this experience every time I shopped there over a year. Someone helpfully offers to order my size for me and have it shipped. Really? At the flagship store? I guess I got spoiled shopping at the employee store!

I did Valet in downtown Portland for a while. When the Dutch Nike reps come into town we parked their cars. My mother is from Holland so that makes me half Dutch. When I go to Holland I respect the cutler there. Here in the States part of our culture is to tip Valet and others in the service industry. I hope the NL reps will show more respect to our culture in the future by learning to tip where appropriate. Dank je!

Some high and mighty employee was very rude and eager to try to give me a lecture on "why are you late?! It started at 6:34 not 6:41!" to a recreational group run. Being greeted like that is that is the last thing I wanted to hear after sitting through 50 mins of traffic after work and trying my best to run and make it on time to a store I had never been to. Yeap. Wont be shopping here ever. Group run was fun though.
